Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
This small restaurant located just off Edgware Road offers a wide selection of fresh Middle Eastern food for takeaway (though there are a few seats inside if you have to eat right away).

I was planning to have dinner at Patogh next door but it was full and me being hungry, tried Salwa. It is a typical Indian/Pakistani takeaway. The food is precooked and displayed at the counter. With curries that is OK but I would prefer kebab rolls to be right from the grill. You choose what you would like to eat, the food is placed in plastic containers and then heated in one of the six or eight microwaves lined up at the back wall. I had lamb curry and pilau and the curry was delicious and spicy. The place is basic though very clean and the prices are quite reasonable. Compared to some low quality Arab restaurants on the Edgware Road, I would prefer this place.
I have been here a couple of times, this is a cosy little place just edging towards Edgware Road. Lovely staff that makes you feel at home and amazing food. I have tried the lamb Nihari and been a regular at buying their munch box. The Nihari here is insanely authentic to south Asian roots, soupy, spicy with slow cooked tender meat. If you are a Nihari lover, you better not miss this place. Was served by Ehtasham and Aahil. Definitely recommend
Delicious Food and Excellent Service! Had a wonderful experience at Salwa Restaurant! The haleem was rich, creamy, and full of flavor, while the chicken karahi was perfectly spiced and cooked to perfection. The tandoori paratha was warm, crisp, and the ideal complement to the meal. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the whole experience even better. If you’re craving authentic, flavorful dishes, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!
Amazing Food and Great Service! Had a fantastic meal at Salwa Restaurant! The lamb karahi was incredibly flavorful, the garlic naan was fresh and buttery, and the chicken biryani was perfectly spiced. Friendly staff and great atmosphere—highly recommend!
I had the pleasure of dining at Salwa Restaurant, and it was an unforgettable experience. The Pakistani food here is truly exceptional the best I've ever had. The flavors are authentic and rich, making every dish a delight. I highly recommend Salwa for anyone looking to enjoy top quality Pakistani cuisine!
They have good quality pakistani food
Food is okay, service is great, place is nice and clean. The prices are quite high though even when compared to similar eateries in the area
Food was lame, biryani was good but the butter chicken was like liquid sugger with orange food color and bhindi was bad. Over all chill invoirment good roti but rest need improvement.
We opted for Chicken Jalfrezi with chicken tikka and kebabs . The best in central London by far. Salwa is always a must when I’m in central London. There were 4 of us, the service they provided was impeccable.
