GoogleOdd that I hadn’t heard much about this place, as our meal was top notch. Gorgeous food, fantastic and interesting wines by the glass, and friendly and expert service (which is so often lacking these days). The room is really lovely too. Prices were quite reasonable for the quality and the portions (enough for a modest lunch for both of us the next day — as much as one can consider rack of lamb and a cut of venison to be “modest”!) Some of the best chips I’ve had in town, and don’t sleep on the bacon-wrapped dates starter … it’s the perfect lush bite. We look forward to coming back!
