Clean place, Good service, Generous portions. I would recommend not going alone. Portion good enough for 2 people.
Went to eat dinner there. Nice clean restaurant. Food quantity was BIG. But food does not taste very good. It is very blend. I ordered Platter, it tastes really awful. I would not recommend it.
This place is just remarkable! The food is remarkable! The waitress is remarkable! It's just remarkable to eat here! Come come come! Warning: The portion is huge!
We stopped by for Dinner at this place in Phoenix, before catching a flight back to Dallas. Were pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, tasteful decor and most importantly authentic afghani food. Portion sizes were more than adequate for one person. This place certainly offers Polite, courteous staff, great food, in the vicinity of the airport and a Mosque less than 5 minutes away.
Good food, good portions, and halal. We came in from out of town, and this joint was a good pick. Very satisfied!
Excellent food taste and prices! Large servings and we really appreciated the complimentary naan with the kababs and nihari, (unlike other desi restaurant that give us complimentary rice and charge for the naans). Good location and adequate ambience. Friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended.
I saw only 6 reviews and wasn't sure but took a chance anyway. The gamble paid off. During lunch the place was packed. Service time was good as well. Great service, good environment, good food, and very generous portions. I usually stuff myself and still could not finish it all. Khalid treated us well. Plan to come back for dinner soon.
Tried this food because it was close to my hotel on camelback road. Alh, food was amazing and the portion size was more than generous, the staff was very polite and friendly. Great food, will definitely come back the next time im in Az.
Restaurant is clean, lots of seating, profession service. Huge portion with lots of flavor for cheap, great presentation.
What a food, what a friendly staff.. Absolutely a charm. Loved this place. Cook is Pakistani. Seating and atmosphere is OK. Good for family. But the real thing, food
This is the most authentic among the South Asian cuisine. The food was made fresh and tasted fresh. And fresh food takes time to cook, so be patient. They recommended ordering ahead of time so your food is ready when you arrive. They take reservations. Mantoo is a must try dish. Amazingly tasty. I would recommend that they add half a dozen Mantoo dish to the appetizers menu and keep the full dozen in the regular menu. We ordered Chapli Kababs, Chicken Boti and half chicken kadhai and Mantoo. The best chapli kabab I have eaten in a long time. Chicken Boti was flavorful and juciy. Chicken Kadhai tasted extremely fresh and flavorful. Most dishes come with a Naan or rice. We did not have to order separate naans. We ordered a garlic naan, but they were kind enough to replace one of the naan that comes with the dish, with the garlic naan. The owner found some time to come out of busy kitchen to greet her customers and she very politely and genuinely apologized for the delay in the serving the food. She explained that they do not serve scooped food and make everything fresh and it takes time. I believe her 100% because the freshness in the food spoke for itself. We ordered Beef Nihari for carry out and it turned out to be another gem. Baklawa was amazing too. The rest rooms were extremely clean. The environment is casual, no need to dress up since your clothes will absorb the aroma of the foods being served. We Will definitely go again.
Excellent variety and pretty cheap. Chicken boti was amazing. Little bit ghetto inside but that makes it more authentic.
Great food and the kabobs are the best in Phoenix! Also recommend their palao with the raisins. Good combination of afghani and Pakistani. Owners cook very authentic food with great menu (lots of diff options). Definitely recommend it
By far the worst customer service experience in my life. We walked in (my mother, my sister and I). At the counter, there was a lady (later found out is the sister of the owner) and a guy (the son of the owner). Only the son greeted us and welcomed us in. The aunt stood there and had an attitude on her face. We bypassed that and still opted to sit down. We put our order in and the food came out so quick which we found odd since we ordered a goat dish which should have taken longer if it was being made The owner who were told is also the “chef” was exceptionally rude, disrespectful and gave us a demeaning look as she approached to bring the food to the table. It was our first time seeing her and she definitely made us feel unwelcomed and uncomfortable. Let’s talk about the food. The rice was definitely not fresh. It was dry and stale. You can tell it was cooked days ago and probably reheated in the microwave. The goat karahi we ordered was the worst of them all. The meat was not fresh. It smelled and had a gamey taste to it. I grew up on goat meat and so I am experienced in how it should smell and taste when it is fresh meat. In addition the dish was not authentic to Indian cuisine (as the owner “chef” mentioned it was an Indian dish ) I have Indian family that have made that dish countless times to know that’s not how it’s supposed to look or taste. We weren’t able to eat that. When we mentioned our experience to the aunt, she was laughing like we were comedians. It was clear between all three of them, they do not take customer service and value us. It felt prejudicial and racist. While we are siting there, another customer came in, the way he was welcomed and greeted was not the same. He was not Black. So.. ??♀️If that doesn’t tell you anything.

I got the Mantoo (dumplings with sauce) with garlic naan and it was absolutely delicious! The service was prompt and kind. Thank you!

If I could give this place more than five stars, I absolutely would! The food here is exceptional, flawless in taste, quality, and presentation but what truly stood out was the top-tier hospitality. Syeda, the lovely lady at the front desk, is an absolute gem. She’s not just friendly; she’s a HOSPITALITY NINJA. I casually mentioned how I love my BBQ well done, and lo and behold, my plate arrived perfectly cooked, exactly as I imagined. It’s rare to find someone who actually listens, let alone delivers with such precision. Syeda went above and beyond, ensuring I enjoyed my meal to the fullest. She even found me the perfect little corner to sit in a quiet, cozy, and just right for someone like me who prefers to enjoy their food in serene solitude. Honestly, it felt like she read my mind! The only hiccup? The couple sitting next to me, who were so enthusiastic about life (and each other) that their conversation could have powered the entire restaurant’s energy grid. I get it, lovebirds ? life’s exciting! But maybe save the nonstop chatter for a more private venue? Some of us are here to vibe with malai boti, not your romance. All that aside, this spot is my new foodie paradise. Not only is the food fantastic, but the prices are also incredibly wallet friendly. It’s a win-win. Mark my words, the next time I’m in Phoenix, I’ll be back, possibly requesting Syeda by name, who’s the real MVP of this place! ?

Very tasty and flavorful food. Nice warm atmosphere for family. Good variety of burgers shawrma biryani and afghan foods

I visited this restaurant today. The food is delicious perfect cook. Hummus, chicken and lam was very good tasty. The service is friendly and attentive, with staff members. eager to explain the menu and suggest dishes based on your preferences. It’s clear they take pride in their food and culture, which adds a personal touch to the experience. The ambiance is warm and intimate, with soft lighting and traditional music playing in the background. It’s the kind of place where you can relax and savor each bite without feeling rushed.

Food is so delicious and the service here has always been incredible! Love the variety of dishes, but the chicken handi is something I order every time! And the desserts are delicious.
I ordered chicken hondi spicy and it was great. The flavor was just right, spice level was what I wanted, and the ingredients were fresh. The chicken was tender and packed with flavor. I also had plain naan and a chai tea, both were the perfect complement to the already delicious meal.
The food is good and the owner was great we had a little chitchat and the restaurant is super clean I LOVE it.

I wish the food was more flavorful. The rice was plain and dry... no flavor or any kind of seasoning. The chicken had some flavor but not what I expected. And I've had Mediterranean food many times, the beef kabobs were okay, This spot again just wished the food had more flavor.

Visited on a weekday evening before the dinner rush. Got the Mix Platter with Kabi Rice, Garlic Naan and Chai Tea with a friend. All dishes were great and the server was very friendly. Very mom/pop type feel. Definitely come back again to try different platters.
This is a small place with good food and sizeable portions that will fill you up. The pricing was average for today's economy around $10 to $16 is an average price. The food was tasty and as mentioned in large amounts. Nan bread was served at our table, as a free appetizer. The place was very clean, nice clean but average bathrooms, and the staff is very friendly and courteous. Unless you are starving, expect to need a to go container, which they were happy to provide. My only knock on this place is they had baklava on the menu but no longer serve it, bummer, I was disappointed.
