Great food. It is zabiha halal, as per the owner\'s confirmation statements. 6 to 8 double tables in the restaurant. There is outside seating as well.
The staff was friendly, but the food was not that great. The meat was not good quality, the bread was not that fresh tasting. The sauces in the squirt bottles are decent. There was some bones in my ground beef. I bit down very hard on the first one. The seasoning stayed in my mouth a long time. It was not a pleasant taste. The portion size was pretty good. I will not be going back.
Very friendly staff, and GREAT food. I spoke with the owner (he is from Turkey) and EVERYTHING is halal. There is a halal sign too. Located near the campus of UC Berkeley and nestled in a cluster of Asian restaurants. There's some seating indoors but plenty of neat seating outside. HIGHLY recommended!
