I heared about Mona when I arrived first to Canada more than 11 years ago, but today was my first visit to them I grabbed some banana (that was old and brownish) and headed to the cashier to pay, the lady told me that I will have to pay an extra CAD 3 if I pay with debit!!! I informed her that I will pay with credit, she said that in this case I will have to pay a minimum of CAD 10!!!! Really??? This is 2025 and they were supposed to be an established business Anyway, I returned the bananas bag and left without buying anything, and will never return there The only reason I am giving them 2 stars and not one, is that the sales lady was smiling 🙂
