Best middle eastern food in Boston, their sweets are not as good but everything else is really good. I think its muslim own, not everyone working there is muslim but whole menu suppose to be halal. Really good hummus, chicken kabob etc

Amazing food! Best lamb I\'ve had in a while. Superb customer service. Very friendly, casual family eat-in setting. Fair prices, big portions. Will definitely return iA.

Nice middle eastern place. Quaint, nice decour. Almost a subway type of counter. Could be quick take out or sit down. Not as many muslims in it, but food was really tasty. Kabobs and salad were good. Decent pricing. Portions were pretty big.

WOW! Both on phone and in person they told me that everything is Halal. Excellent service, excellent food, beautiful atmosphere, reasonable pricing, about 10 minutes walk from Broadway T station. Street parking nearby and in front. Seems like it's owned by a Moroccan family, they were playing Qur'an back in the kitchen. I was their only Muslim customer. If you are in the area, you must try this place.

First time trying this place and it was incredible. The garlic sauce is delicious and is similar to my favorite gyro place. I highly recommend the lamb kebabs and hummus. The baba ganoush is good as well. Order all the sauces to see which is your favorite :) South End Pita is going to be a new go-to for me!

South End Pita is a fantastic spot for delicious and authentic Moroccan-style Halal food. The lamb shank was absolutely delectable - tender, flavorful, and practically falling off the bone. The falafel plate and chicken kabobs salad were also big hits, with fresh ingredients and generous portions. The staff at South End Pita were friendly and courteous, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a satisfying and flavorful Mediterranean meal."

Pita Restaurant: Where Your Taste Buds Go on a Vacation!" If you're looking for a restaurant that serves food so good it'll make you question every meal you've ever eaten, Pita is the spot. The chicken and lamb here aren’t just cooked to perfection—they’re practically serenading you on the plate. It’s like a gourmet love story where the meat and spices eloped in a pita wedding. The salad? Oh, it’s not just refreshing—it’s the kind of crisp, vibrant salad that makes you wonder if all the other salads in the world are just phoning it in. And let’s talk about the hummus. This isn’t just hummus; it’s THE HUMMUS. The kind of hummus that makes you want to call your mom and tell her about it. If you think you’ve had good hummus before, think again. The customer service is so friendly, you might leave wondering if you just met your new best friend. The staff is attentive, polite, and they somehow always know when you need a refill of your drink or a second helping of pita. Plus, this place is spotless—so clean you could probably eat off the floor (but please don’t, because you’ll want every bite of your food to land in your mouth). Honestly, this might just be my new favorite spot to sit, eat, and contemplate why I don’t live closer. Pita Restaurant has officially ruined all other restaurants for me. 10/10 would recommend, and 11/10 would eat here again.

We didn’t actually go here but we ordered on GrubHub, and the food was really good. We had placed an order for 2 lamb gyros, a Mediterranean iced tea and a side order of baklava. The baklava was delicious but what we got was the size of a matchbox, it was only $2 but cmon charge a little more for a bigger slice of the most amazing baklava!

I had the beef shawarma roll and my girlfriend had the pulled lamb plate. Both were delicious. Total price was $34. Will be back!

My visit to South End Pita had a bit of a dark start— the power was out on the block! But the man at the counter was kind enough to let me know what was going on and that they were only accepting cash. I'm glad I had some on hand, because the Chicken Shish Kabob Combo Plate was worth every penny. Despite the heat, I savored every bite in my car, thanks to my trusty steering wheel tray (which I totally recommend trying if you eat in your car often). 5/5 stars for the food, and I'll definitely be back to try more.

This was an unexpected gem. I came across the location while walking to the Sunday Vintage Maker around the block. I was looking for a place to sit down and eat before doing a little shopping. The place was empty but it looks like they get a lot of people for lunch and dinner. I was there early and ordered the Moroccan Eggs. Wow-- the dish was packed with flavor. I'm not sure if it was the owner or manager but after I got my food he walked to my table and asked some to try the tea on the house. As a non coffee drinker and tea lover I was hooked. The tea was a mixture of mint, honey, and other herbs. I had such a good experience and really enjoyed the food that I ordered a chicken pita to take on my flight later that day.

Order dinner from here for the first time and it looked and tasted like slop. Lunch is amazing but dinner I would stay away from. Sorry Southend Pita, I could've eaten in my neighbor for much better halal dinner.
