Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. Only selected items are halal, and supply is sporadic - ask first.
While Nashville is the home of country music, when it comes to ethnic fare, this town is crazy about Indian cuisine, and the best of Nashville's best is Bombay Palace. Featuring an extensive and diverse menu of popular regional dishes, the food is true to its roots while attuned to contemporary preferences for healthy ingredients and a lighter use of butter and oils. Here, everything is made fresh to-order and skillfully prepared by chef's who are masters of their craft. Fresh seafood, chicken, lamb and vegetarian dishes are all well represented, and Bombay's lunch buffet is a convenient and affordable midday favorite.

Decent food. Cooling is decent but flavors are a little off. Not bad for a one time visit.
Like others have mentioned, it seems like Halal meat isn\'t always available. When I asked if the food was Halal, the waiter had to go check with the kitchen. That being on a side, I enjoyed some of the appetizers, however, the main courses weren\'t very pleasing. I won\'t be dining there again.
I have been here at least three of four times with my coworkers in the past two years. Every time I have asked the manager at the counter if the meat is halal is halal and his answer was, I don't know. I cannot guarantee that the meat is halal. So i have preferred to eat the vegetarian offerings. This place is really busy during lunch time and I find that the spice level is really toned down for the buffet items.
I don't know how this place ended up here, but not all their food is halal. The owner says occassionally he will get halal shipment of chicken, depending upon the prices he gets, but not always. We personally know the person supplying them with goat, and he does not have halal supply. Their lamb is from costco, which I believe is halal. Too many ifs and buts!
