Tandoori Grill

I went here walking next door from the Apna Bazaar which is where they take their meat from. I asked the guy in the counter(Apna bazaar) if all their meat is hand slaughtered and he referred to another guy inside who came out and said \"some of it is hand slaughtered, some of it is machine slaughtered, some of it is mixed, cant say\". He then started to go into the details of why machine slaughtered is still halal. I just asked him to let me know which meat is machine and which one hand slaughtered cos some customers prefers their halal meat to be hand slaughtered. He did nt seem to know but gave me the distributor details. I still went to the restaurant to eat and the goat karahi meat was undercooked. They agreed to cook it again and served it second time. The taste was kinda delicious (my wife liked it) but the experience was nt. It was a little pricey also. The mango lassi the waiter recommended was nt good. So, check with them again if you care about hand slaughtered meat. Otherwise a typical desi restaurant, just a little less classy.

I have been going to this restaurant for the last 5 month (ate about 12 times): Pros: Excellent Nihari, Charga, and Fish Pakora. The taste of these three items has been consistent and definitely must order items. (10/10) Cons: No other items taste even close to perfection. Items has been Stale, tasteless, and perhaps made quickly to serve within time. (i.e Biryani, Chicken Karadhi, and Jalfrezi were ordered specifically on 3 different occasions) (4/10) SERVICE: All waiters are unprofessional, rude, and no table manners (except one, who was hired 2 months ago) (1/10) So the best thing to do is take out and definitely try the 3 hot items with consistent good taste!

Ordered palak paneer... Oil was dripping from it, and looked as if it was cooked days earlier.. Disaster

Good food, less portion, expensive, this is typical desi restaurant. Kind of liked though.

I went there after reviewing previous reviews but it was hopeless. Place is good for sitting, food is very expensive serving size is too little. Taste is okay not extra ordinary.not worth the price..not reccomended.

I have been here 3+ times now, and must say that anything from the tandoor is outstanding. The kaboob sandwiches ($5) are a bargain for their size and quality, too. Superb samosa appetizers. Worth the trip across town!

We had the Lamb seekh kabob and the Nihari. While the Nihari was pretty good and pretty spicy, the kabob was not as well done as I like (still had some pink) and was also too spicy for me (even though I asked for mild on the kabob). The restaurant itself is very clean and the decor is very nice.

Good staff, great tastingl, fresh, halal Pakistani food.

We recently had dinner at Tandoori Grill in Columbus and it was honestly one of the most flavorful halal Pakistani/Indian meals we’ve had in the area. Everything was incredibly delicious and full of authentic flavor. We ordered the Chicken Dum Biryani, Seekh Kebabs, Grill Chickens, and Nihari, and every dish was very delicious. The nihari was rich, comforting, and packed with deep spice flavor, while the seekh kebabs/grilled chicken were juicy with a perfect smoky char from the grill. The chicken dum biryani had great flavor throughout and tasted freshly made with quality spices. They also served lemons and fresh ginger on the side, which added a really nice traditional touch to the meal. The family platter came with 2 naans included, and we ended up ordering an extra naan because everything paired so well with the nihari and kebabs. Their regular naan & garlic naan was fresh, soft, and slightly crisp around the edges. One thing that really made the experience memorable was the hospitality. At the end of the meal, they surprised everyone in our family with complimentary kheer, which was creamy, sweet, and such a beautiful gesture. If you’re looking for authentic halal Pakistani/Indian food in Columbus Ohio with generous portions, flavorful spices, and warm service, Tandoori Grill is absolutely worth visiting!
