food was yummy. The staff are very friendly. They have a separate prayer area upstairs with Quran's and reading facilities which impressed me.
Disappointing dining experience regarding food quality and portion sizing My group of seven recently visited for dinner, and while there were some positive aspects to our experience, we felt compelled to share feedback regarding the culinary standards. Good taste in Music as well. To begin with a positive, the staff were exceptionally professional, polite, and well-presented. The facilities were also well-maintained and provided a comfortable environment for our group. However, the quality of the meal did not meet our expectations. While the presentation of the dishes was visually appealing, the flavor profiles were consistently bland. Every member of our party found it necessary to add significant amounts of salt to their meals, which suggests a lack of seasoning during the cooking process. Furthermore, we had concerns regarding the freshness of the chicken, which fell short of the standards we anticipated. We also felt that the portion sizes were quite small in relation to the price point, particularly regarding the starters and vegetarian mains like the mutter paneer. Given the pricing, we did not feel that the meal offered good value for money. We hope this feedback is taken in the spirit of improvement, as we believe the restaurant has great potential given its excellent service and facilities. We would love to see a more authentic approach to the depth of flavor and seasoning in the future.
On arrival we were asked if we wanted popadoms, I asked for 2 each. We then ordered the set meal which included popadoms. While ordering the set meal the young girl said the popadoms come with the meal. The girl said we wouldnt get charged for the extra popadoms as they were complimentary and came with the meal. But they were on the bill at the end. You would think with a set meal you would get equal amounts of starters for 2 people either 4 onion bhaji or 2 but not 3. The chicken starters were perfectly cook and taste great, the onion bhaji were also very tasty. The food was nice but not spicy We used the knife and forks on our starters, they were taken when they took the starters dishes away, but they did not give us fresh clean knife and folks when the mains came. It took me a few minutes to get someone's attention to get clean cutlery. With the fact that they ask at the beginning would we like poppadum's and then being told the extra 2 would be complementary and then charging us for them means I will not be going back here. But the food was nice. It's very rare I give less than 4 stars but, this was our first visit here and I don't think their eye to detail was on point on this visit so I scored them on 2 stars. The toilets are up 2 flights of stairs which is not good for disabled visitors.

I visited Bengali Dynasty tonight and really enjoyed it. It was quite busy, but we were still seated quickly and got a nice table by the window. We had actually tried another Indian restaurant the other day, but felt much more comfortable here – the atmosphere was warmer and just more welcoming overall. The food was very tasty, full of flavour and nicely presented. What stood out most, though, was the service. The staff were genuinely friendly, polite, and attentive without being over the top. Would definitely come back.
This place has definitely changed for the better. Very clean, and the food was excellent. The curries aren't drowned in ghee, and the mixed starters very generous. I had a Goan curry, which had the right balance of sweetness and tart from tamarind. Looking forward to the next visit. Was just short of £60 for 2 including drinks.
Hi there, Thanks for reading my Google Review! My review is solely based on my experience. Therefore, the overall score will reflect both the positives and negatives without me mentioning the negatives (unless required) as each experience can be different. So...my review; We got the Sunday £16.95 which is a lot of food for the price nowadays. It was well worth it, and I happily would pay more. The food tasted great, wasn't spicy, but they could tailor to your spice. The customer service was exceptional, and the venue was clean and in a great location. We can't fault Bengal Dynasty. They did everything above 5 stars. I will be back for sure. Taste: 👍🏾 Value for Money: 👍🏾 Atmosphere: 👍🏾 Customer Service: 👍🏾 Menu: 👍🏾 Location: 👍🏾 Parking: 👍🏾 Would I recommend: 👍🏾
