Arlington's first fusion of old world Afghan cooking and modern restaurant. Our approach is a fusion of old world cooking techniques and modern convenience to provide you healthful foods in a convenient setting at affordable prices. We purchase our produce from local farms in Middleburgh when in season and give priority organic selection to ensure both the best flavors and nutritous value. We bake our bread fresh daily in our clay oven using the same techniques perfected over 2000 years and passed on through generations. Our kabobs are made using premium cuts of meat, lightly marinated and cooked over open flames for the right level of flavor and tenderness. Soups are our family recipe for the ultimate in comfort food, but never heavy in oils or cremes and always light and healthful.

The best food you can find in Greater DC Area. The meats are Zabihah Halal (hand-slaughtered Halal). The restaurant is open 24 hours and is always filled with people. Even Kheer (rice pudding) is tasty. You can pretty much try everything here.
The taste, quality and presentation of food is very good. The combination of rice with chicken and beef is delicious. And yes, the Baklawa sweets is a must try if you are a dessert lover.
The best kabob place in the WORLD. I love coming here, I come at least three times a week it’s my favorite food and I’m always looking up to it. Most importantly the WORKERS are what make this place the place. Super sweet and understanding and caring. I will never stop coming here!!! ??
The BEST place for Kabobs in the entire NoVa area. Not only is the food amazing, but the employees are so sweet and sincerely kind and caring. The food amazingly delicious and it tastes that much better when combined with the best customer service around. Myself and our families will go nowhere else for Kabobs, Lentil soup is a must as well, along with the Baklava (w/ or w/o walnuts) is mouth watering yummy too.
Ordered takeout beef and chicken kabob. Beef was flavorless and had a very bad texture. Chicken was cooked very nicely and had great flavor. Not very big portion sizes as meat goes, but they fill you up with rice and bread. We ordered the lentils and spinach for sides. Lentils were very good and flavorful. Spinach was OK. They have very good free hot tea to drink while you wait, which is a big plus. Rating by item: Beef Kabob 2.5/5 Chicken Kabob 5/5 Lentils 5/5 Spinach 3/5 Other sauces and bread were good.
I had high expectations based on the great reviews and waited an hour and a half for my food to be delivered, but I was disappointed. The food was bland compared to other kabob places I usually go to. It lacked the Afghan flavor I was hoping for, and the rice tasted like it was just boiled without any seasoning. The kabobs were decent (7/10), but the rice (1/10), chickpeas (5/10), & bread (super chewy 5/10) didn’t meet my expectations.
Delicious food. Generous portion sizes. Clean washrooms. Found this place on our road trip . Good to have a halal place this this.
Taste in food is a personal matter and what I like might not be good for others. However, when it comes to Arlington Kabob, I love it every time I visit. The menu is simple, but the food is healthy and delicious. Everything is made in front of the customer. So, a big win for those who eat at Arlington Kabob. Cleanliness is also superb. Even though the store is always busy, Arlington Kabob is always neat and clean. Normally, staff at busy restaurants don’t have time to be nice, but at Arlington Kabob, every employee will greet you kindly and for this positive attitude, I give full credit to the owners because if they don’t treat employees well, employees won’t be kind to the customer either. Finally, for the record, I visit the store almost daily and if nothing else, I at least get a cup of tea and it is always a pleasant experience. So, a loud thank you to everyone at Arlington Kabob for being positive while serving great food!
I had an exceptional experience at Arlington Kabob! The customer service surpassed expectations, and the food was not only amazing but also incredibly fresh. The prices were remarkably reasonable, and their attentiveness, such as providing butter and sauces, added a thoughtful touch. The dishes were impeccably clean, and the food presentation was exemplary. The only suggestion for improvement would be to consider expanding the dining area. The free tea was a delightful surprise, adding to the overall positive experience. It's no wonder they have such high ratings on Google—choosing them based on those reviews was absolutely right! A heartfelt thank you for the fantastic dining experience with friends and family. If I could, I would give them a 10 out of 5.
I arrived here early on a Saturday and they’d just opened. The place was clean and quiet. There was a woman wiping down tables. My order of a gyro and a rice/chicken platter was taken quickly. The food took about 20 minutes for takeout. I watched them make the flatbread. The food was tasty and the quality and quantity was justifiable for the price.
