Fully halal menu. All three of us ordered a curry each and thought they were very delicious and good portion sizes. For me personally, my favourite meal in San Fran. Highly recommended

I would give it a 0. I had a fly in my good and they didn't want to return it. Never ever will I go there!

We had our order delivered to the hotel. Free delivery as long as order is over $20. When I called they confirmed meat is halal. Chicken biryani was good but little on the spicy side but it had lots of meat. Combination Grill was good but portions were little small but it is expected in downtown SF.

This is the best regional (Pakistani/Northern Indian) food I've ever had. I ordered the lamb thali to go, and everything was packaged well with generous portions. The flavors were incredible, showing real care in every detail, from the chutney to the curry to the preparation and presentation. I also ordered a side of the veggie samosas, and they were also fantastic. It was so good that I returned the next day for the same meal, adding a mango lassi, which was the best I've ever had. The owners add to the experience by making you feel genuinely welcome, which is rare these days. I wish I could eat here every day!!!

This was the best place we ate at since leaving Texas on our long road trip. The food was amazing, service was spectacular, and the chicken curry was the closest to my husband’s grandfathers he has had ever! The employees were kind, helpful, and especially attentive. We weren’t even planning to go to this place but the place we wanted to go to didn’t have the right vibes so we lucked into this hidden gem! Highly recommend!

This place definitely takes me back to my time in India, and every bite brings me back to when I was staying with my aunt while studying there. The lamb Kadahi is amazing—they use fresh vegetables with large chunks of bell pepper and onions. They don’t just scoop it from a large pot and microwave it when someone orders, like most Indian restaurants. Every dish is made to order, so there's still a crunch when you bite into the bell pepper. Even though I went alone, they didn’t skimp on the portions. I got a plate of rice meant for 2-3 people, two legs/thighs of chicken tandoori, and a big bowl of Kadahi. I had to take half of it home because of the huge portions. The mango lassi? Just WOW! It has more mango than yogurt, making the quality outstanding. Unlike other places where there's only a hint of mango, here it tastes like you’re actually eating a real fresh mango. If you’re from out of town, I’d encourage you to try this place. Don’t dismiss it just because it’s in the TL. Sure, it’s not the best area, and the street has its issues, but once inside, you’re surrounded by the rich aroma of curry. The mango lassi was so good I ordered another to go. For two dishes, a plate of rice, and two mango lassis, my total was $29.75, plus a 25% tip because the server was attentive and kind. And it’s worth noting—this can feed up to three people! Unlike that ramen place on Geary (you know, the one with the unnecessary long line) where I paid $55 for two bowls of ramen, and they forced a 15% gratuity on a bill for bad service, then place the check before you can finish eating just to serve the next person.

This place is a hole in the wall... But that's a good thing! Everything was delicious. They can also do spicy food too! For most people their spicy is about a 9 on a scale of 1-10. My scale is a bit different and probably more of a 5 for me, but still delicious!

Decided to try this place after reading the positive reviews, but it was a total disappointment. Lamb boti - dry as rock and hard to chew, barely any taste Chicken chowmein - stale pieces of chicken and disaster chowmein Chicken dish (forgot its name) with peppers & gravy was YUCK Butter chicken was so tasteless The restaurant is in a very shabby location. Hard to find parking. The restaurant itself looks dingy and unkempt. It had hideous red paint inside which did not add to the look and feel of this place. The gentleman was polite and the order was ready on time, those were the only positive things about this restaurant. I would definitely skip this place.

We loved the food here, but the service was even more impressive. The owner is very nice . We saw a homeless man come in and he was given some food for free. Everything was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend if your looking for quality food.

I learned all about what Pakistanis speak, Punjabi, Pashto and Urdu! Also met an Afghani, all Uber or taxicab drivers! ? I thoroughly enjoyed my lamb vindaloo and onion kulcha. No liquor license but I bought a bottle of champagne at a nearby liquor store! ?

Not only they are open late, but also one of the most flavourful tandoori I have had. Impressively clean. Very kind owner. For the price, definitely deserves 5 stars.
