Hook Fish & Chicken

My wife and I really enjoyed the food here. It is run by a father/son team from Jordan. They are extremely friendly people and we enjoyed talking to them while waiting for our food to cook. We tried the fried tilapia and fried chicken gizzards. The breading and spices that they use to cook the fried tilapia and chicken gizzards was very tasty. It is delicious and they give you so much food! Just a note, if you have never eaten chicken gizzards before, they are a tougher piece of meat compared to other parts of the chicken. The spices however made them very flavorful. It is not very expensive either. We also tried the fried oysters and potato pancakes as appetizers. While the fried oysters were only so so, the potato pancakes are delicious. I would deifinitely recommend the potato pancakes if you do try this place. Note: Take out only, no real place to sit and eat at this restaurant.

So I buy this cheesecake last night literally not even 12 hours ago. And I’m very disappointed I go to eat it this morning 5am and there’s mold on it. Ive never seen mold grow so fast on food in my life. This is unacceptable selling old food to someone. And not only that there prices that’s on the menu is so different than the prices on there register so please pay attention when buying from here! As for me and my family I will never order from here again!

This place has a simplified menu, and that is why it is so amazing. They aren't trying to do 100 different recipes. They fry chicken and seafood. And they are supremely skilled at that. The breading is crispy and not too thick. The seasoning is balanced and unique. The portions are very generous, and the price is on point. This place is a true gem.
