We ordered two doner kebabs and two small orders of fries from Lieferando. We waited a full 3.5 hours for it to arrive. When the delivery driver finally came, he complained about why there was no sign on my doorbell. I showed him that there was a sign on my doorbell. He then proceeded to insult and yell at us in the most appalling way, asking what he thought he was doing and saying he had other food to deliver. I told him he had no right to yell at us and that he could talk to us properly. I finally got my food, but then he insulted me again in Turkish. The food was truly disgusting. I should have ordered from somewhere else. Definitely stay away from this place.
The köfte plates were very tasty and the delivery was very fast 👌
We were there on Friday evening and ate in. Since I'm not from the area, I hadn't been to the restaurant before. We were there with someone in a wheelchair, and thanks to the ramp, we were able to get in without any problems. The staff immediately rushed to help us open the second door. The restaurant wasn't crowded, so we were able to get to our table without any trouble. The service was very attentive and friendly. We had Adana fries with rice and chicken skewers with fries. Beforehand, we were served a small salad with fresh parsley and a basket of freshly baked bread, which was very crusty. There was also a selection of dips. The food was incredibly good, everything freshly grilled and prepared. Afterwards, we were offered complimentary Turkish tea. The ambiance was appealing with a rather modern decor, and everything seemed very clean and well-maintained. Perhaps some background music would have enhanced the experience, but even without it, it was a lovely evening. The price-performance ratio was good; it was worth the money. We were very satisfied and would like to come back again sometime. I highly recommend it.
The food is really delicious. You can sit inside or outside. I didn't see any restrooms. The kitchen is practically open, similar to the kebab shop around the corner, so you can see that it's clean. The staff is very friendly, but a bit wasteful in the kitchen. They don't seem to understand special requests. If you don't want salad or sauce, for example, it will still be on your plate. These days, though, it's served on a separate plate as a side dish. I've always received bread and salad with my meal, either as a starter or as a snack. The location is in downtown Wanne-Eickel. So, if you want to sit outside, the children of a certain clientele can be so loud that it's almost unbearable, even late at night. The owner can't really do anything about that.
