Wowwwwww, best arab food I have ever ate! For a desi, spicy food is a must, the hot sauce here is amazing. Same goes for the pepper humus. This place is hidden, and trumps pitaville, fattoush, any other chicagoland arab restaurant. This place is totally like Chipotle.

Damascus falafel is a breath of fresh air in the falafel and shawarma scene on the southwest side of Chicago. Their food is always fresh. The variety of salad is amazing and the taste is unique. I love their roasted paper hummus, falafel, cucumber yogurt and tabouleh the most. More than the food the cleanliness of the place and fast friendly service is what is refreshing about them. Their chicken and stake are both Zabiha and from very reputable Chicagoland Muslim producer. I would highly recommend it.

I went here when they first opened. The food was Ok, nothing to fall in love with. Althought the falafeel was different and tasty. Back then they were getting their process down, the owners/staff where very niece and helpful. I would stop by here if i am in the area, nothing to go out of the way for. Plus, when people use an electric cutter for shawerma it just looks odd, i understand the use for efficiency, but its just not right.

New shawerma and falafel restaurant. Chipotle style serving where u pick your own ingredients. Huge portions. As a Syrian I can truly say this is one of the rare places in chicago where the shawerma does taste authentic and damscean. Excellent falafel and service.
