The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
All of the food we serve is homemade and it is all picked with care. We chose the best ingredients on our menu for making the best Mediterranean and Turkish Foods.

Troy makes up for its small size and simple furnishings with high quality, authentic food and genuinely friendly service. The owners care about their customers. Their menu is somewhat limited, but it is authentic and the food fresh.
mashallah! Better than the food I had in Turkey. Very authentic Turkish home cooking.
Special family-run restaurant offers a delicious Turkish cuisine with traditional tea, sweets and a quiet place to sit and clean and the service was excellent
Excellent food and service. Clean, contemporary, family-run restaurant in a strip mall that serves delicious halal/zabihah food. I had the lamb kawurma plate with turkish tea. The owner confirmed and offered the certificate of authenticity.
Fantastic place to go to. Went with a work colleague and got kebab plates and it was awesome. They serve tea, soup and turkish dessert complimentary. Seating is very casual but contemporary. The restaurant is at the intersection BEHIND the gas station and only says Troy.
This is a brand new family run restaurant, that serves Turkish food. The restaurant is fairly small with about 10 tables, but is nicely organized. The family that runs the restaurant is very nice, and made it a point to tell us the food is all zabihah halal, even though we didn't ask, since our friends already informed us of this. The food was also very good. All entrees are served with complimentary tea, and a small rice appetizer to start the meal. I ordered a mix of chicken and doner, and my wife ordered the iskender kabab. We also had a side of hummus. The chicken and doner were pretty good. However, the Iskender Kabab was top notch. I have eaten Iskender Kebab in Bursa, Turkey, where it originated from, and the one served at Troy was at the same level. The side of hummus was pretty small and fairly average. I don't think I would order that again. Overall this is a good restaurant that is working very hard to expand their offerings, and become a staple in Austin.

Love this little spot. The food is excellent, the staff is friendly, and its never crowded. Its a little hidden gem.

Had a great experience! Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere a lot!

Food was not the same as I remember.

Troy Restaurant in Austin is an absolute gem! From the moment you step in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and an inviting atmosphere. The menu is a perfect blend of Mediterranean (Turkish and Greek mostly )flavors, offering fresh, flavorful dishes that are beautifully presented. The lamb chops were cooked to perfection, tender and bursting with flavor, and the Taziki yogurt dish was some of the best I’ve ever had. The staff was attentive and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. The Troy Mix dish was amazing. Highly recommended! We will be back for sure ! ?

The food here is incredible! So delicious and you can tell it was made fresh to order. Service was impeccable. 10 out of 10! Great little place of the beaten path!

The best warm Dolmas I've ever had. Everything we ate was 10/10!
