Previously makkah halal meat. I'm so glad they took over. The store is clean, the meat is fresh. Staff is friendly. Lots of imported Indian/Pakistani stuff there, almost all spices you can imagine. Their prices are decent too!

I always go to Makkah halal meat and grocery, it's cleaner than most indian groceries and the customer service is very good. There is no bad smell from the meat section as there is usually in other groceries. I leave all the way from Pickering just to come here because it is HMA certified.

I went to Makkah Halal Meat & Grocery and found everything I was looking for. Apprantly the store manager has changed and the new manager is very helpful and friendly. Also there is a new butcher and he's also very friendly. The meat was really good the butcher cut it exactly the way I wanted and it was lots of lean meat not too much fat. I would recommend this grocery especially for the meat.

They are just Meat thieves.We did our Qurbani at that place. We did 1 portion of beef,they gave us 16-18 lb meat and we paid $280.

(This is a review for the Makkah takeout restaurant next door) We Catered food for 25 people, it was a flop. The price was good but not good. The kheer seemed like they just poured jugs of milk, not kheer at all. Although the place did seem busy for small takeouts such as samosas and small sweets. Biryani, mix vegetable were good. Chicken karai was a flop. 3 out 5

Place is a bit run down and they dont seem to clean up their refrigerators. It's also a smaller store and they've used every corner of space with items, be careful as some things maybe expired but are still sitting on the shelf.
