Similar observation to the other comments on halal status. I trust the owner, he is Muslim and serves nothing that would make me suspicious in any way. I think he doesn\'t advertise halal so as to not put off non-Muslim customers. Food was excellent. Had the beef burrito, meat was very tasty and the salads were fresh and very well presented. Nice sauces. It\'s a lunch place so closes at 3. I will go again next time I\'m in Chicago it is a lovely change from all the middle eastern food one is mostly exposed to at take out joints in Chicago.

I have never had mexican meats because there are hardly any places that serve zabiha. This place is nice and clean, good for sit-down or take out. Friendly owner and efficient staff. I went there based on recommendation from a friend. Talked to the owner about zabiha meat and he was convincing enough. He's muslim and they don't serve pork or alcohol. He mentioned where he sources his meat from. Forgot the exact name, but a farm somewhere south of chicago. I tried out mixed tacos(1 chicken, 1 barbacoa and 1 steak) since I wanted to sample everything. Steak was ok, but barbacoa and chicken was were excellent. Tender meat with good flavor without the strong pepper spice and FRESH! If you just get the tacos, the portions are just enough which is not a negative. Horchata was a bit too sweet, but I put in som extra ice to water it down. Definately going back.

Very nice and clean place, the Owner showed me the Zabihah halal meat boxes and assured me everything is halal and no pork products. Prices are good and food quality is great. Had chicken tacos and they were amazing. Will go there many more times.

This is 100 percent halal Resturant and the owners are from Bangladesh. Tasty Mexican food, very clean place with great furnishing. The only thing is that they are open only on weekdays till 4 pm.

Love this place! The food is delicious and fresh always! I go once a week when I’m in office and always get the salad with chicken - it also comes with a side of chips and salsa. Staff is wonderful too!

Asada's quality and service are top notch! We ordered catering for our office and Sharif and his team helped us select what food items and quantity were best for our group. They were very prompt in their communication and the food was delicious. We are definitely ordering from them again!

I had steak tacos. They offer good-sized portions, and I was impressed that their three taco meals came with chips and salsa. I could smell the black peppered steak as soon as I opened my to-go container. Not your typical Mexican tacos. It also looks like they use flank steak cuts instead of ribeye or skirt steak. The Staff was really nice, but I don’t think I’ll return.

So I was searching for halal options in the loop and this place popped up. Walking in there I wasn’t 100% sure what items are halal so I asked the guy behind the counter (brother Sharif), who turned out to be the owner. He confirmed that all their meat is halal and they also have the certificate on the wall. I ordered tacos which were pretty solid. Brother Sharif was very nice and shared his restaurant knowledge and future expansion plans. I’d recommend this place and will definitely come back to try other items. Also, he told me that they serve breakfast as well which is on my list for next week.

Went here for a quick Taco Tuesday lunch, but actually got the Steak Fajitas, service was quick even with a little lunch time crowd action happening. Staff was friendly. The Fajitas were pretty good. Next time I go on a Tuesday will definitely have to try the tacos :P

Great service. I ordered the tacos and I asked for 3 different ones in a combo (fish, chicken and shrimp) costed me $13. I got the same ordered and the tacos were fully loaded. But taste wasn't great, balance of spices ummm no no... It was almost bland because the veggies were not dressed. The meat tried separately were okay. Fish was old but well cooked and evenly coated. Chicken was okay too and shrimp needed salt. The atmosphere is good but it is right next to the metro station and the noise takes the fun away. I would say affordable food at a noisy location but Chipotle over Asada anyday. The boy behind the counter gave me extra bag of chips (which was crispy and freshly fried... So loved it). And he also gave me a small batch of the chicken tortilla soup because I asked if he liked it. I'm a picky soup person. ?

We had a reunion event of Alumni on 11/11/2023 in a banquet hall in the Chicago suburbs. Asada Mexican Grill served fresh & hot lunch to 220 guests on the spot. They brought their portable cooking stations to serve the food warm. Fish/meat Taco & Steak/Chicken Bowl were served. Each and every guest highly appreciated both the quality and the quantity of food. Each plate was stuffed with plenty of fish or meat irrespective of the bowl or taco. A team of five from Asada grill served the food quite efficiently within a span of 45 minutes to all 220 guests without causing a long line or any delay. We, the organizers, were extremely happy with the reasonable rate of the food and the quality of the service. Mr. Mamun, the owner of Asada Grill, was supervising the entire process by himself. I would strongly recommend everyone to cater Asada Mexican Grill's delicious menu in your next event. Give them an opportunity at least once to host a successful event. I can guarantee your guests would love their excellent food and even better service.

My company (Grainger) hired Asada Mexican Grill for our end-of-year celebration last December. Shareef and his team went above and beyond to provide incredible food and service. We had over 300 people at the event, and there was plenty of food for everyone - delicious burrito bowls, tacos, and nachos setup buffet style and served by Shareef and his employees. Shareef was so great at communicating leading up to the event, which was greatly appreciated. The food was a total hit and we have continued to hire Asada Mexican Grill for more events!
