A taste of American/Cajun Creole in Fairfax. Give us a call for information on our daily specials, weekly events and our monthly beer dinners. For 18 years, The Blue Iguana has been a fixture here in Fairfax, Virginia. One of the first of the new school of Chef driven restaurants, The Blue Iguana was finally sold in August of 2013. New owners started cooking halal food at Blue Iguana late 2014.

Great find! Owner came out and greeted us upon asking if food halal. All chicken and hamburger is halal. She gets her meat from restaurant depot. Owner from Kazakhstan I believe. Great if you are looking for American food and also halal! Great taste as well.

Great service and excellent brunch buffet options. The staff was friendly on a sunday afternoon when we stopped by for brunch. For under $15.00 you get to choose from an omelette station, carving station, prepared foods which vary, waffle station, and more. There is even dessert. The service was also great and the atmosphere was great for a sports bar. Most of the beef and all of the chicken is also halal.

Tiffany is AMAZING, one of the best servers. Me and a few coworkers came here ONE time for HH on Wednesday. We came back today weeks later and she remembered my drink. Her energy is amazing, she is quick. All is great with her! From the MGM team??

Went with a friend for dinner. The place is outdated, filthy, smells like mold and needs repairs. The service was very underwhelming even though there were very few customers. Food was barely warm and just ok; not fresh and steak was very chewy. Will NOT be back!

Corbin is amazing. So is the other host/waiter. Good luck getting the bartenders to acknowledge your presence. I guess they only know how to tend bar for the regulars…? Unfortunate for the walking traffic trying to support the local bar…
