A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
I do not see halal signboard however they are the same team running the business including the market selling halal meat and halal poultry next door. I like the dishes and the ambient is nice and acceptable. However, the taste seem need more improvement.
Came here for Sunday buffet with my family. There is a good bit of variety. Really enjoyed the kabobs, fish, and gormeh sabzeh. I would say this is the 2nd best buffet next to Sahara. The thing that really made the difference for me was the service. Both owners came by and asked how we were doing and our waitress was excellent. Will definitely come back.
Shahrzad Mediterranean Market & Grill is a restaurant isolated from the market and adjacent to a grocery store. This place runs a persian buffet daily all day and the food choices are realy good with all traditional persian dishes like kobedah and jojeh kebab and gormeh sabzee on menu along with salads , yougurt dips, deserts. Food quality was very good with hot out of grill kobedah & Jojeh. I will definitely be going back soon. Grocery store is adequately stocked with Halal Meat and other Persian delicacies.
This place is now closed and replaced with the Persian Halal Buffet. Shahrzad Mediterranean Market

On Dec 4th,08 I enjoyed great buffet lunch with family at very reasonable price. Very nice Middle Eastern/Asian dishes. Food was freshly prepared. I also lived in Dubai and food was exactly of their style not very spicy. I loved its food. Also very clean dinning area with great Non Veg/Fish and some Veg varities/Hummas. Staff and manager is also very friendly. Great arabic style tea was also included. Will recommend you especially for meat Non Veg lovers.
just a thought....but don't call your place "grill" if your going to go veggie. Would have eaten there but....need to have some meat if your going out to eat.
Nice clean place. Lots of good fresh produce and all the standard items one would expect plus a whole lot more. Lots of fresh baked goods including sweets, lavash, pita, naan and more. A decent selection of halal meats or get yours cut to order. A good choice in Richardson
Not a good experience. food was A OK.most dishes were vegetable dishes, no grill kabobs,no flafel, and no deserts of any kind.waist of money for me.
