Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
In addition to shawarmas they have delicious crepes. Shawarma, Manakish, crepes, salads, pizza and sandwiches! Try our new mint lemonade and popcorn falafel!

Nice chicken shawarma but that is the only helal. Neither beef shawarma nor other beef products is helal
Confirmed with the owner. Chicken is halal but the meat is not.
This place has THE best chicken shawarma in DC or anywhere else in the Northeast! I've been there a couple times and tried the crepes as well which were awesome. Really good food for really good price!
I was very impressed by the food here, they have pretty authentic flavors and ingredients. I ordered the Nana’s original Manoushe and loved it. Always always get the lemon mint beverage, I promise it will not disappoint. The location was smaller than anticipated and had very limited indoor seating - just 1 or 2 tables. There is outdoor seating but this spot is definitely geared towards takeout and healthy fast food options.
Authentic and tasty Middle Eastern food I recommend this place for sure.
I had to revise my review. The quality of food dropped dramatically. I've known the owner for so long. He always served great food quality. Now the quality is worse, even though he charges a lot more. I think he should watch how his staff prepare the food. I would want this restaurant to stay around and serve great sandwiches
Fresh, delish shawarma on homemade bread. There were fries inside (my fav). Mint lemonade was tasty as well.
Had a great lunch here. Small cozy place with great food.
Nutella crepe was fantástico! I can’t speak for the rest of the menu. Would get crepe again. Although I wanted Twix which is on the menu but said they don’t have.
Great spot to check out!! The chicken shawarma platter was halal and delicious. Excellent fries. However I did not love the pizza because I prefer a more crunchy dough vs soft.
Simple layout of food options, for those with halal dietary restrictions, it’s confusing. The certificate states both red meat and poultry, however guy behind the counter states it’s only chicken that’s halal, they need to clarify and make it clear. Food tastes good, seating is ok and overall prove value for money.
