Very popular place here in Leicester. Always packed! Very nice decor and ambience inside. I went for a ladies lunch here, about 10 of us. Bad news, we ordered and waited over an hour and they had not even started making our food. It was midweek, about 12. The starters came out, naan pieces and dips. Very very delicious. But our mains never came out. We asked them, and the employees that were working at that time, acted like they could care less. And we asked for our money back, they gave it back and that was that. We walked out. Pointless and frustrating. We could have sat there for another hour, wondering. Having said that, the place is always packed and the food that we DID eat was absolutely perfection. Have a go, hopefully those space cadet employees are not there, or they are awake now...

Avoid this place if you'd like your family to dine in a safe, respectful and islamic environment. Female members of my family visited this establishment during ramadhan. It's important to note that they were dressed very modestly and behaving in a respectful manner. It is also worthwhile noting these girls were of young age (all below the age of 20). During their visit, they were given a note by one of the waiters from an adjoining table of perving old men (dressed in long beards) to the shock of the girls. Needless to say they left immediately as they were intimidated. This event shocked me and my family and goes a long way to displaying the behaviour of staff and guests at this restaurant. AVOID!

We fancied something different and as my partner is from the Middle East, we opted for a restaurant we have previously tried and enjoyed. My better half doesn’t normally eat Lamb but the Lamb Chops here are fantastic and the quality of the meat is excellent. Hardly any fat and cooked to perfection. We always get different dishes, so we can share and I opted for the Chicken Shish Kebab, which was excellent. You have the choice of rice or chips with each meal and we had one of each. As a refreshing compliment to the completed meal we had the cold rice pudding (satsuka I think it’s called). This was lovely. The whole meal, including drinks for the pair of us was about £60 and worth it. Even if you don’t finish, they will happily box-up any leftovers for you to take home. On this particular night we did have to wait 15 minutes for a table, but that’s worth it. We popped to a local coffee shop for a drink while we waited. The restaurant is suitable for all ages and all sizes and we saw families and parties of up to 8 on the night of our visit. I certainly recommend this place to anyone.
