Salaam, Unfortunately the chicken sold here is not slaughtered with the name of Allah. Mediterranean Market told me that they get their chicken from Ohio Farmers. I called Ohio Farmers at (216) 391-9733. Ohio farmer's get their chicken from Gerber Poultry which is an Amish facility, but according to the individual at Ohio farmers he has been to the Gerber poultry facility and has never seen chicken being hand slaughtered. I also emailed Ohio Farmers and they told me their poultry is not hand slaughtered. I am not sure about the rest of the meat they sell there.

Very good selection and quality, however prices are sometimes a little high. The highlight of this place is their prepared food. They make excellent kabobs/rice/cheese pies etc and the prices are superb for the quality. If you have guests coming over just call in and order a combo for 6 or 10 and you'll be set. The owners are not Muslim but the meat section is run by Muslim brothers that come to the masjid regularly and have no doubts about the meat's halal-ness.
