The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status.. From the management: 'We do sell halal items, all our menu is halal.'
For years rotisserie chickens have followed a rather mundane flavor palette. We, at smokin chikin, decided to gather flavors and recipes from around the world (from South America to Middle East to South Asia) and decided to spice up (no pun intended) the rotisserie chicken world. Our hope is that our flavors blended with our unique cooking style will take your taste buds to a journey across the continents. Come check us out!

In a small city like Clarksville I was surprised to find a 100% halal restaurant. The rotisserie chicken is excellent!,we tried La Brasa, Tandoori and Peri Peri. Just like the food quality the service was exceptional. After talking to the owner found out that they use only fresh chicken not frozen and it is marinated for 24 hrs before its cooked. It was a pleasant experience for the family and everyone loved the food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.
My wife and I decided to stop at Smokin Chikin while passing through the Nashville area on our way to Dallas for Eid a couple months ago. I had earlier talked with the owner on the phone. He assured me that the food is all zabihah halal despite the area having a small Muslim population and mostly having non-Muslim clientele. The owner is an engineer by profession and very respectful and friendly. He even called us the following day to make sure that we enjoyed our visit to his business. As for the food, it was excellent. They marinate their chickens the previous night, so they only have a limited quality. We arrived around closing time and some of the dishes were unavailable. But that means that the food is fresh. The setting is very nice and the service was great. We really enjoyed the BBQ chicken. The BBQ sauce that came with it was the best that I have ever had. The place is a little out of the way, but definitely worth a visit.
