Dishes carry names in Kurdish, Arabic, Armenian, Syrian, and Turkish, and are often prepared in a spicy manner. It is widely believed that Urfa is the birthplace of many dishes, including Raw Kibb (ÇiÃ„ÂŸ Köfte), which according to the legend, was crafted by the Prophet Abraham from ingredients he had at hand.

I went there for lunch today. They said only their lamb is halal. I ate vegetarian. The ambiance is good. A bit on the pricey side.

Was here for brunch and ordered the steak sandwich which I requested to be served not as a sandwich! The food was an absolute delight and the staff were super friendly. Really enjoyed our time here and would love to come back.

We dined at Urfa on a Friday night and had a wonderful experience. We will be coming back for sure. It was fairly busy, so we were glad that we had made a reservation. The food was excellent, we especially enjoyed the cold appetizer platter, the beyti kebab, and the chocolate mousse. The waiters were attentive and friendly and we felt welcomed immediately. They also provided recommendations that were delicious! Overall, an excellent dinner at one of the best restaurants in Los Altos.
