The menus clearly state that halal food is served.. From the management: 'The Halal Guys takes great pride in using only the highest quality, halal-certified meats. We know many of our customers like to know the sources of their food and we are happy to provide the Halal certifications for our chicken and our beef gyro. 100% halal food.'
From humble beginnings as a New York City hot dog cart to a world-renowned international restaurant chain, The Halal Guys story is the quintessential American Dream. The Halal Guys is defining a new, thriving segment for the restaurant industry: American Halal Food! The Halal Guys legend began in 1990, when the three founding partners opened up a hot dog cart on West 53rd & 6th Avenue in New York City. As business grew, they recognized a huge demand from Muslim cab drivers looking for a halal food meal. That is when the famous platter of chicken and gyro over rice was born. And let's not forget about the famous white and red sauces! Fast-forward 25 years, five carts, two New York City restaurants, and millions of diverse customers served, The Halal Guys is growing yet again. Fans no longer have to be in NYC to experience The Halal Guys as they look to share American Halal Food all over the country and the world.

The food is always amazing, had the gyro regular meal, the white sauce is delicious and mix the red packet sauce a little bit. It's really spicy
Literally came here at 1139 pm - they close at 12 . These guys were so nice and patient / I’m sure they wanted to close up but they were kind enough to let us sit and finish our food ! We got the falafel plate and the wrap - the hummus white sauce and bbq sauce are a must ! The rice had great flavor . Great spot so glad we came here !
Food is hit or miss, just be careful with their deceptive ads offering discounts and freebies. Got an ad for free wings if i spent $30....went into the store to pick up my $34 order and the cashier told me I couldn't redeem because I needed to order something....with my bag of food sitting right there....with my name on it. Done. This place is shady and not worth it for being so bland. Spend your money elsewhere.
We finally got to try this place with legendary roots in New York. The food, service, and atmosphere were all pretty good. We had the small combo plate with rice, vegetables and choices of proteins. It was a delicious and balanced lunch. We have a young puppy so we appreciate the outdoor seating area. Parking: There are plenty of free parking at this large shopping center.
If you want to eat light, this is a good option. They don't have salads on the menu but I ordered a chicken bowl with no rice but extra lettuce instead. ($14!!!) after finishing it I felt very well without the feeling of fullness in my stomach. The taste of the chicken is almost null so I can't say much. I don’t recommend this place if you love Mediterranean food like me because the taste is far from a good Mediterranean food. For a quick light lunch is ok.
Not a fan of mayo, so didn't try the white sauce but beware, the hot sauce is HOT. Great flavor, tons of spice... had the hiccups and sweats from it. Had the bowl, chicken was tender and flavorful.
I had medium platter with Rice, Slow Cooked Lamb, Cilantro, Onions, Parsley and In-house hot sauce. It was filled with butter and the flavour is amazing.
I brought my friend here for his first time trying Halal Guys and he liked it a lot. I’ve been to many of their locations and this one is no different in terms of consistency and quality of the food. Props to the guy who served us – he was very forthcoming and thorough. It’s not the most inspiring interior, but it is very much fast casual food, so you can’t expect too much. First timers beware of how spicy the red sauce is. Don’t be a hero! ??️?
