Lovely food and atmosphere. The service was good too. We ordered a desi tawa for 4 and some extra dishes. Food came out quickly, and the staff were very attentive. It wasn't busy at all, only 2 or 3 tables there at the time. I shall definitely be visiting again.
We chose lal haveli for my husband's birthday dinner. We ordered desi tawa for 4 people. Food was good. Lamb karahi and chicken jalfarazi was yummy. Not happy with seekh kebabs and chapli kebabs. Other was all good. Lovely decor and calm atmosphere. Service is little slow. But overall all good. Must visit and try there desi tawa
This was a tawa for 6 people and it was absolutely disgusting. - There was an inch of oil on top of all the curries. My butter chicken curry separate from the tawa set, had more oil then both the currys combined as you can see in the pictures. - Fries smelled and tasted awful. You could tell the oil used was not clean and had been used for at least a week and not been changed. - The pakoras were not fresh and just again oily and broken. - There was suppose to be 6 chicken wings, there was only 4. - Sheesh kebabs there was 1 full one and 5 half pieces. - Nann bread was also just dry looking. Whole order has been returned to the restaurant for a full refund. Would be more than happy to speak to the owner of the place. To serve this quality and portion of food to people for nearly £60 is ridiculous and a rip off. Should really be ashamed of this and you really need to focus on quality checking .
First off I must say the food was excellent 👌🏿. The portion sizes were VERY big. If you have a sharing platter skip the starter, you won't finish it 😉 The restaurant is a little rough around the edges which is why I gave ⭐⭐⭐⭐, the toilets were not clean & there was no soap to wash your hands (in the mens), also the car park is a bit tight when full, so try to park at the front if you have a big car. The restaurant area is clean & tidy and the seating is very good. Food comes hot 🔥🔥🔥🙂
We booked a table for a large group and were seated pretty much straight away, although a wedding was going on in the next room and the car park was full, there was still enough parking spaced on the streets outside this venue. Food was actually very nice and the prices were very reasonable considering the portion were quite large. Starters were very tasty and the mains were although spicy had a very authentic taste. Steak was made by the former chef at Baba Reeba Walsall and the kids really enjoyed that too, The staff were very friendly and the seating was very spacious and plentiful. I would certainly recommend this place for dining and socialising with friends & family.
