Ordered Andhra style Prawns Vepudu as takeaway, and it was very disappointing. The dish tasted nothing like Prawns Vepudu. They seemed to use fried Prawns 65/pakoda style prawns to prepare it, which completely ruined the taste. It tasted horrible and was a total waste of money. If they are not familiar with the dish, they should at least check some recipes or food videos before serving it.
I ordered biriyani and another Sri Lankan dish and they took 1.5 hours to bring the order and waste my precious time. Before taking order they should have told us that it would take 1.5 hours but they didn’t say anything about the tine. Ok after the food came watching rhe decoration we were happy and thought ok after waiting for long time may be we will get some good food may be but in my life I never eat such a tasteless biryani and the other food is sri lankan food so I dont know if its taste bad or it should be like this way so no comments.
The samosas are definitely very good - 5 stars for that. I took homepack so by the time I got home, the food (dosai and idly) was cold, though I am sure it would taste really good if eaten at the restaurant. It wasn't spicy at all 🙂 though I would prefer that it be a little spicy. Will visit again.
The service and ambiance were quite commendable. Overall three-star rating, particularly for the Chicken 65, mango lassi, and its level of spiciness. The South Indian Thali offered a good quantity of food at a reasonable price, with an acceptable taste, though nothing particularly stood out. The Sri Lankan chicken curry with vegetables is also okay👍. The chicken curry's spiciness was great 👌, while other aspects were deemed satisfactory.
We had misoori masala dosa and their special lunch deal, with mango lassi. Both are very good special the misoori masala dosa. Chicken 65 was okay, it was a little bit bland. Lamb roll was also very good. I waited 10/15 min. There was a guy Dhanu who took our order, very nice and kind, loved his service. Recommended.
