AssalamuAlaikum Was in Modesto to visit sick MIL. Looked up for a halal place to eat and found this restaurant one of the nearest to the hospital. When first came in we were greeted by a customer. The store itself was clean but there was no food serving area found. We asked the woman at the cashier, she said, \"There is no eating place here. You want to eat there\'s a place next by.\" Pointing at the non halal Mexican joint next door. We were appalled and disappointed by her response. We thanked her and stepped out with disbelief. We ended eating at the one at McHenry. Alhamdullilah
Assalamualikm First time here on Kabul Express on our way from Yosemite valley as we were running late ,the store+Rest closes at 9pm. I called him about 10 min after 9pm and the owner closed it and left ,but when I called him and told him we are not from this area and probably all Hallal places must have been closed. The owner Rasool was so Kind and courteous ,friendly, respectfull that he went back to restaurant opened up for us and made us some fresh tasty chicken platters with amazing tasty basmasti rice.Food prices were very reasonable and very tasty, flavourfull. we reached there around 9.30pm ,he greeted us warmly with SALAM and welcomed us heartly! . Also he waited until we finished eating and then he closed the place.Thank you Mr Rasool .ALLAH BLESS YOU.AMEEN. We will always remember your hospitality and definitely visit you again when we come.

Damnnnn, I never recommend anyone go to this place Crazy staff I called and ordered a special pizza they told me that it would be ready within 20 minutes. I closed my store drove 10 minutes to their location asked them for order they said you came late you have to wait 20 more minutes to make your pizza ready which means for a single pizza we have to waste one hour of our time.

I had the worst experience I've ever had with Middle Eastern food. The service was terrible, and the food was disappointing. The staff seemed completely unaware of basic customer service and were dishonest, trying to take advantage of me in every way possible. Don't waste your money here—go somewhere else where your business is actually appreciated.

This is my favorite restaurant The food was really delicious and it has the most delicious Afghan food

Second time dining in, and the last. While we often order delivery and enjoy the great taste of the food, the dine-in experience has been very disappointing. Service is severely lacking—we waited over six minutes before even being acknowledged. When the food was finally brought out, the server placed it on the table without a word. They don’t even offer water, and one of our two orders arrived without utensils. The tables were dirty, with rice and crumbs and sauce dried on, the overall atmosphere was very grim and uninviting. The workers were more concerned about chit chatting with each other rather than even greeting customers. I'm not sure they even speak English. The woman seemed to be the only one working in the back, and the food is delicious, but the service is far below expectations, definitely not up to basic common and American standards. Concerns are heightened by the fact that the same owner operates the Kabul store next door, which is notoriously filthy. One wonders when they were inspected by authorities last time.
