Just went for dinner with my partner, food was good however, instead of being charged 48.80 (which they showed us on the bill) we got charged 84.80 when tapping our card! Unfortunately we didn't notice or get a eftpos receipt and didn't realise until we got back to our hotel that our account was overcharged. We got the following. 2x 0.5L Beers 1x Appetiser Plate 1x Kebab Plate P.S I have attached the charge to this review, please keep in mind my own currency (AUD) is up the top the Euro is under that which is what we got charged.
I am not sure because of Oktoberfest or not but my experience was not that good. The place is average and food was also average. The ambiance was not that appealing and too much loud as many people were playing cards. The portion of the food was small compared to similar turkiesh restaurants and cost was same. Overall its a average restaurant with nice food.
I think that this is the oldest Turkish restaurant in Munich and I first came here thirty years ago. The food is excellent; fresh, tasty and nicely proportioned. The red wine is not bad either. The service is also fantastic; friendly, attentive and genuine. I think it was better what I got on a recent visit to Istanbul. Definitely worth a visit.
I am a tourist from France and just arrived in Munic today, I’ve been more than glad to be invited to this restaurant!!! Delicious and tasty food with a very warmth welcoming by the staff! I have been living in Europe for 20 years now and I am so happy to taste finally the good Mediterranean food! I hope that they will be able to open the same in France! The owner is so nice and professional. He pays attention to what we need and makes sure that we are spending good time in his restaurant. I found the taste of my mom’s food 😍 thank you for the great hospitality and delicious food! I’ll certainly come back!
Good traditional Turkish food. Don't expect turning kebab wheels. Friendly service.
