About Barburrito
Burrito bars. The world's first opened in 1920s LA, courtesy of Alejandro Borques. The UK's first opened in Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens back in 2005, courtesy of, well, us. 5 million burritos later and several sleepless nights, we have almost perfected the art of burrito making. GoogleIn Leeds for a evening of Nickelback and before the show we had time to kill, so food was on the cards. We went to Bar Burrito thinking it would be a nice change and as we like Mod Pizza, Subway and places you can customize your order...this might be the place to go. £16 for 2 burritos which were packed full with loads of toppings, so a lot for the money...if it tasted good. In one of the burritos we had steak, which was very chewy, so a few of those were spat out. The pulled pork was particularly nice but there was something 'off' with the guacamole. I guess the moral of the story is: 1) Don't choose the steak 2) A regular size is more than enough 3) don't have guacamole A manager did come over to make sure we were OK and gave us a free burrito voucher as an apology. So this stopped us rating this lower.
