Pulp Fiction'-Inspired Royale With Cheese Brings Halal Burgers to Cass Avenue.

Great halal fast food option. With growing list of burger joints in metro Detroit area, this one stands out based on its ambience and great tasting burgers. Very economical too. Parking may be an issue though.
Excellent food. The signature Royale with cheese is a smoked brisket sandwich and is fantastic. Fries and pop is only $3 more. The owner is really friendly and ensures everyone has a positive experience. Great location on Cass Ave, two blocks down from the masjid, and a mile up from Little Caesar\'s Arena. I\'ll be pregaming here on the reg. Note: The menu explicitly states that all the meat is locally sourced and Halal.
Great burgers, fries and shakes! Had the Kruncher and Royale with cookie butter and nutella shake. Amazing! The owner really cares about your experience here, making both the food and service fantastic. Great having a halal burger place in Detroit!
Love this place. Started off with the nacho raviolis! Delicious!!!! Then had to have a cheeseburger, Swiss burger with Cajun fries. Really really good. Everything about this place is fantastic. So glad we dined in!
The food was good. We ordered the fried ravioli bites, kruncher burger, roasted tomato and basil soup, and the all up in your grill cheese sandwich.
When it comes to the food and the service I'd probably give 6 stars if I could. Very helpful and polite when we were ordering (first timers) and even suggested a way to save on our order. Burger was incredible. So much flavor that I was sad when it was gone. The fries were interesting, they are like thick peels but oh so good. Got the Cajun version and they were so good. Now the reason for the lower than 5 star rating... The table we sat at was dirty and it was at the very start of the day, so clearly not wiped down either at the end of the day or before opening, either way, if that's what we see, what are we not seeing. I'm hoping this was just an oversight because I really want to go back the next time I go to the VA.
Visited Royale with Cheese with my family for a late lunch. We ordered the Southwest Royale Wrap, Kruncher Burger, Vincent Vega (a classic fried chicken sandwich), and the Mushroom Onion Swiss Burger with Cajun fries. The halal meat was incredibly fresh and juicy, and the sauces, cheese, and fresh ingredients paired perfectly with it. The wrap featured crisp, fresh veggies and was probably the healthiest option of the bunch. The fries were made from real potatoes, crunchy, and lightly salted (the herb fries were especially delicious). The restaurant has a cozy diner vibe with plenty of tables, making it a great spot for families. Can't wait to visit again soon!
This place is hopping, for good reason! Excellent burgers, unique fries, Fago, boylons and fountain drinks. Had a Just burger with Swiss *instead* of the Fondue…because I don’t like food that drips- if this is you: request cheese instead. Pickles were not the usual burger pickles and it’s Perfection!! Don’t get to visit as much as I’d like. Definitely 10/10 have recommended!
The food here was amazing. The royale fries with brisket was the best with the burger closely behind it. If you want a quick bite to eat I 10/10 recommend this place.
We just came here for appetizers. We got fried Mac n cheese and pretzel sticks. The fried Mac n cheese was great and had a special sauce on top. The pretzel sticks were warm and the cheese that came with was addicting. Wasn’t sure what to do with our plates when we were done, I feel a sign may have helped
The food was good. The order taker was friendly and efficient. I had the Fairway salad with grilled chicken and the tomato basil soup. It took a while for my salad to come out. People who ordered burgers and fries were served much faster. However, once it arrived, it was good. I would order it again.
