GoogleWe came for dinner on New Year’s Eve. I had a great first impression as soon as I walked in the door. The air was perfumed with savory scents coming from the kitchen. The decor gave the dining room a magical, gezellig ambiance. The wait staff was both friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. The chicken vindaloo was flavorful and spicy… beware, when they say spicy, they mean it. This level of heat is not often found in restaurants in Netherlands… we loved the authenticity! The lamb in the saag ghoscht was tender and spinach sauce tasted super fresh. This place isn’t cheap, but pricing is on par with other Leiden restaurants on the town center. We left very satisfied and happy to return.
