About Döner Turm

The shop is located directly on the U-Bahn station TurmstraáŸe, next to the former Hertie Department store in Moabit. The department store was thoroughly renovated and repopulated with new shops in summer 2013 which will revive this part of Berlin, certainly also good for the kebab shop on TurmstraáŸe. The kebab shop with an exotic touch offer an interesting mix of Turkish, Asian and German specialities. Next to kebab and dürum you can enjoy also Chinese fried veggies and currywurst (though made of beef). The meat used is completely halal, in accordance with muslim rites. The ketschup and all their sauces are home-made and leave a nice residue hotness on your tongue.

Today I had the durum with cheese + fries. For the steep price of 8.50 for the durum, I expected a bit more. The saving grace of the durum was the strong cheese, because without it, I would have only been able to taste the wrap due to the lack of meat. It did taste alright, but just very scarce on meat. The fries were fine and servicable. The service was extremely quick, efficient and friendly. However, I doubt that I would return here. There are many better options just a couple of blocks away.
