We are bringing real New York Street food to the Dallas community. Tasty mediterranean style goodness, that is simply delicious. My father served street food to New Yorkers for a few decades, and they loved it. I'll be sharing those same cherished recipes with you all down here. Natural chicken that's free from pesticides and antibiotics.  Falafel that's house made with authentic spices. Pitas and platters, simple yet so satisfying. House made sauce that's the real deal. We will also feature our signature NY cheese cake. We are elated to serve the Dallas community with our simply delicious street food.

Food = 3/5 - Chicken is bland, there is a lot fat left and it is chewy and not appetizing Ambiance = 4/5 - Well lit and is clean People = 3/5 - There can be a lot of improvement in the hospitality of the people Menu = 3/5 - Needs to be more streamlined Overall there is a lot of competition in this space that I don't think it should get a free pass.
Absolutely love this place! It\'s quite drive for me since I\'m coming from FlowerMound, but the food is so worth it that I\'ve been frequenting at least twice a week. Growing up in NYC spoils us, and this is legit NY style food. The owner and staff are extremely friendly and helpful. Favorite is chicken over yellow rice with lots of white sauce and roasted potatoes. Plenty of veggie options for the side, and my wife and parents loved the roasted eggplants. My family is pretty picky with restaurants, but this is a hit and look forward to enjoying it for long as service/taste remains same!
I had a great experience at Chopped Halal Grill ! The eggplant dish was amazing, cooked just right and full of flavor. The bowls were *big and filling, which was a nice surprise. The taste of everything was delicious, and the restaurant had a cozy, comfortable atmosphere. The staff are really friendly and made me feel welcome. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for tasty Mediterranean food and good service!
I recently visited Chopped Halal Grill, a quick-service restaurant, and was impressed with both the speed and quality of my experience. I ordered the chicken bowl with rice, rice pudding, and an onion samosa, and everything exceeded my expectations. The service was fast and efficient—perfect for a quick meal without compromising on taste. The chicken bowl with rice was flavorful, with tender chicken, well-seasoned rice, and a variety of fresh toppings. The creamy hummus and pickled vegetables added great texture and taste, making it a delightful bowl that was both filling and delicious. The onion samosa had a perfectly crispy crust and a savory, well-seasoned filling, providing a great side dish that complemented the main meal. The rice pudding was the ideal way to end the meal—smooth, creamy, and with just the right amount of sweetness. The restaurant was clean and inviting, and the staff was friendly, making it an enjoyable experience from start to finish. If you're looking for a quick-service spot with quality halal food, Chopped Halal Grill is definitely worth a visit!
I loved the food here! It’s like your usual gyro shop, with some twists. So, for bowls/wraps, you order a protein and two sides (three sides for a bowl) We got the gyro meat over yellow rice with roasted eggplant, red potatoes, and roasted broccoli, falafel bowl over lentil rice with red cabbage, Mediterranean salad, and chickpeas, kofta meat over yellow rice with sautéed mushrooms and onions, house salad, and roasted potatoes, falafel sandwich, gyro sandwich, mango cake, rose cake, mango lassi, and gyro fries. I loved all the protein, and both types of rices were delicious! As for the sides, my favorites were: the sautéed mushrooms and onions (a little picky), the red and roasted potatoes, and the roasted eggplants. All the other sides were good too, except for the chickpeas, they could be softer. Gyro fries was amazing! It was a little spicy, but you can ask for more sauce (they have 7 different types of sauces!!) Between the two desserts, I preferred the mango cake one.
I am not sure if this is authentic Mediterranean restaurant but as name implies copied the food is also worst. I took the beef gyros rice bowl. They filled up the box with too much rice at first and then a slight amount of gyro which you can see on the images, literally covered a layer on top. Given that the less amount of food I was hoping it would taste better. But gyros doesnt taste like gyro at all. It tastes some kind of shredded vegan meat. And the total food taste is so blunt and no flavor at all. Not recommended at all. *note to owners reply: I didn’t ate some red cabbage actually. I am not being targeted. Look deeply into my rationale.
I ordered a falafel wrap and baklava. The falafel was crisp and fried to protection and tasted great. The add-ons of fried eggplant, red cabbage and roasted potatoes are a must try. If you’re a spice lover, don’t miss the green sauce. Baklava was great too with right balance of flakiness and crunch. Would definitely return again! I’d highly recommend if you’re into good vegetarian food with great portion sizes!
I recently visited *CHOPPED Halal Grill* with my friends, and it was such a great experience! The atmosphere was vibrant, and the service was excellent. The portions were generous, and there were plenty of vegetarian options to choose from. The food was incredibly tasty, especially the *falafel*, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The fries and sauces were super fresh, with the *garlic sauce* and *loaded fries* being particularly delicious. Definitely a spot worth checking out!
Recently visited Chopped Halal Grill. The menu features a wide variety of halal options, including grilled chicken and vegetarian choices. I loved the ability to customize my meal. I ordered chicken bowl with veggies(Roasted potatoes, Fried Eggplant) and their special garlic sauce. The flavors were incredible, and the chicken was perfectly cooked and well-seasoned. The service was excellent. The staff was friendly and quick to assist with recommendations, which made the experience even better. I found the prices reasonable for the quality. Overall, I highly recommend Chopped Halal Grill for anyone looking for delicious, customizable halal meals in a welcoming atmosphere. Be sure to try the garlic sauce—it’s a must!
We had some amazing food at Chopped Halal and Grill! The food tastes absolutely delicious, and their sauces, especially the white and green sauce, are incredible. The spicy potatoes are a standout — perfectly seasoned and flavorful. We’ve tried the chicken sandwich and the falafel rice bowl, and both were so yummy! The portion sizes are generous, giving great value for the price. We’re definitely coming back!
