Food and service was excellent! Great halal restaurant for Indian and Pakistani cuisine.

This place is one of the few authentic Pakistani/Indian places in DC that is nice and clean with exceptional customer service. My wife and I ordered kabab platter and chicken tikka masala and all food items were extremely delicious! My son is two and even he loved the chicken, which was great because he is a picky eater. So glad to have a good family restaurant like this near us! Can\'t wait to go back!

This place is literally amazing! There are so few places in DC you can get this much food at this price point- all high quality too! Great for lactose intolerant people as well! Staff is super friendly and you can tell they really care- they go out of their way to make you feel welcome! Absoutely coming back.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at City Kabob, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and a cozy ambiance that set the tone for the evening. The menu offers a delightful array of authentic Pakistani dishes, each more enticing than the last. I started with the samosas, which were perfectly crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. For the main course, I opted for the chicken biryani and lamb karahi. Both dishes were cooked to perfection, with rich, aromatic spices that transported me straight to the heart of Pakistan. The naan bread was freshly baked and the perfect accompaniment to the delicious curries. To top it all off, I indulged in a dessert of kheer, which was creamy and just the right amount of sweet. The service was impeccable; the staff was attentive, knowledgeable, and made excellent recommendations. The attention to detail and the authenticity of the food truly set this restaurant apart. I highly recommend City kanob to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable Pakistani dining experience. I can't wait to return and try more of their amazing dishes!

Delicious food and fast service. Naans were great freshly baked. Raita was not good but issue was immediately and quickly resolved by the staff?

This place is worth more than gold! The customer service is excellent and Saji always meets customer satisfaction. This place offers a buffet service. But today I could not stay so I took a plate to go… look at this delicious plate before it’s devoured.

Excellent. Don't be intimidated by the authentic and thorough menu. Try the buffet. I ordered to go first time and came back the same week for the lunch buffet. All you can eat $18.95. You can't take your kid to McD for that. Excellent and easy. Parking can be hard but be patient - people are coming and going nearly all the time.

This is without a doubt my favorite restaurant of all time. The food is delicious, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond, offering the true warmth and hospitality of Pakistani culture. Every time I walk through the door, it feels like I’m entering a family gathering. It takes me back to childhood memories of attending weddings—where you could try a little bit of everything, and every bite was a joy! The atmosphere is cozy and laid-back, making it the perfect escape from the fast-paced corporate world in D.C. I highly recommend the buffet—once for lunch and again for dinner. It’s a great way to sample a variety of dishes and discover your favorites. I don’t usually leave reviews, but I’d do anything for this place and its incredible staff. Their kindness is unmatched and they're good people. This is a spot in D.C. that truly deserves a loyal, steady stream of customers. Best. Place. Ever. Bring your family and friends! Share this gem!
