Man, this one is disappointing. I’ve ordered from this place many times in the past through delivery apps and for the most part I’ve never had a bad experience, as the food is pretty good. However, for the first time today, I attempted to place an order over the phone and got a taste first hand of the abysmal customer service. First off I will say, I get that working in customer service sucks but like, come on. From the get-go, the guy on the phone was rude, extremely short with me for no reason, and when I asked a question about their wings, he began rushing me off the phone and literally told me to hurry up with my order (I wasn’t even on the phone a full minute). The attitude was so disrespectful that I just cancelled my order and when I did, the guy said “Yea you do that” and hung up. Can’t make this stuff up. Absolutely embarrassing for yall (but not gonna lie he did gag me with that ?). I’m all about supporting local businesses, but a successful business begins and ends with the experience, and the basics of customer service is part of that, especially at a restaurant. If you can’t handle the task of taking an order over the phone, then maybe working at a restaurant isn’t for you. Can’t blame the entire restaurant as I’m sure not every worker there is that stiff, but if this is a representation of what a proper experience is supposed to be here, then I’m good on this place. Like….is management in the room with us??
Delicious ? food. I liked it so much. Great service and wonderful workers. I enjoyed there and I recommend all my friends to taste from "Halal Burger".
The halal burger is one of the best places to get your fresh made burger . The halal burger been up since I came to America and I came to America around 2014 and I been going to the halal burger for the past 10-12 years. So the owner of the store definitely seen me going from little and fat to tall and slim . And over the past years I been eating with them, there food quality and texture definitely improved from years going to them. If you haven't tried there food out your honestly missing out because there food is so amazing now like couple days ago me and my friends want there and ate there and was dining in there new dine in place. Yes they opened up another store right next to it for a dining area and i love it. The paintings and the art on the walls were just cool. I'm putting up this review because they deserve it and they been so consistent with they business and I love to see that. But without consistently you can't really achieve anything. So this restaurant is definitely 5/5 . The food and the quality of the food has Improved so much I want you guys to go and support this business and leave a good review in for them for all the hard work they put into becoming what they became today. This place is 100% Halal and is opened for anyone to eat at!! Please go support them and leave a nice review for them to look at. Well deserved reviews that's for sure!
Extremely disappointed with what Halal Burger has become. This place used to be great, but now it’s a total mess. The staff doesn’t wear gloves while handling food, which is a huge red flag for hygiene. On top of that, the restaurant itself looks like it hasn’t been cleaned in a while—floors, tables, and even the kitchen area just seem neglected. It’s really sad to see a once-reliable spot go downhill like this. Until they clean up their act (literally), I wouldn’t recommend eating here.
This is probably the best burger you can get in Chicagoland after 1 AM. It appears everything is cooked to order and they have some very good burger topping styles. I had the Fireball burger and it was phenomenal. Want to go back to try the chicken sandwich, Ahmed fries, and chicken wings. A# spot, sorry for lack of photos, scarfed it down in the car in the parking lot.
My new favorite spot for take-out! Warm service, EXCELLENT and flavorful food, huge portions, great price. I highly recommend the sambosas, kabuli palaw rice and a combo platter. Food 5 Service 5 Atmosphere 5
It’s a Pakistani place. All Halal food has a name says. As you can see in the pictures, a very sparse environment. Not much to see and not good looking inside. Even the monitors where the menu should be were not working. Looks like they make everything fresh so took our burgers 10 minutes. Not a fast food place. So be patient or order ahead of time for pickup. Food was decent. The “CEO burger” I had was good but not great. We also had Cowboy burger and that was better. Worth trying this place. Don’t judge it based on how the storefront locks. Focus on the food and you’ll be satisfied ?.
This used to be my favorite place but last time when I went the whole patty was burnt including the bun. They even raised the prices. I don’t have a problem with the price being raised but at least keep the quality the same!! Very disappointed
