Traveling from out of town and surprisingly, this restaurant did not come up on the Zabihah app. I then used my backup and searched for halal restaurants on Google Maps and they came up. I called and confirmed the meat is halal and also verified it with all the Muslims patronizing this restaurant. The food wasn't bad and it wasn't great, but it was good. The kabuli palau, in particular, was the best I've had. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are a good value. I'd go back if I was in the area again.
Finally a legitimate Afghani restaurant in DFW! Food here is no frills and plain delicious enough to protest against the war in Afghanistan even more. Everything I\'ve tried has been finger licking. Their chapli kabob is juicier than the overripen mangoes I used to devour on back home as a child- really, NO ONE can touch their chapli kabob! They even have a chapli kabob burger that\'s manly enough to blow away all the skinny jeans and put some hair on your legs. It contains not one juicy giant chapli kabob patty, but TWO. The lamb chops are never enough. I once ordered two orders (six pieces) along with the best kabuli pulao just for myself and cried at my table. This place can cure all ills, even in-laws problems.
Really loved this place. Wife and I went here back to back weeks. Highly recommend the ribeye kabob, lamb chops, and bolani. Also their naan bread is delicious fresh nice and crispy some of the best naan I have had. Both green and white sauce are good and go well with everything. Also their rice is very delicious. My only knock is for the ribeye kabob plate I would have liked a little more protein other than that everything was great.
It's been a while, but it was our first time visiting since the change of ownership. The menu is similar, and the food still tastes amazing! We enjoy the platters here the most. We dream about the kabuli rice--so fragrant and can be eaten on its own. The chicken kabobs are marinated well and have a nice grilled aroma. Not many places make house doogh, so it's always a treat when we get it from here. The owner is very welcoming. The food here is so comforting.
Tried this place for the first time and ordered the chicken kabob with Kabuli rice—it was absolutely delicious and so fresh! The naan was freshly made, and probably the best naan I’ve had so far. I also tried their house-made lassi, which was great, but I noticed it had a lot of small mint pieces in it. That was a bit of a drawback, as it made it harder to drink. If it were filtered out before serving, it would have been perfect. Overall, the food was amazing!
Tachmid was so attentive and our lunch was great. I was craving a roasted savory lamb shank and was not disappointed. My entire entree was delightful. Ordered: Kabuli Palao With Lamb Shank Qabuli palao rice with lamb shank & chopped tomato salad. Comes with naan and extra sauce from the glaze. Also served with both green chutney & white sauce. Also ordered a 1/4 lb Burger with seasoned fries (white sauce, seasoning and a red sauce) This was exactly what I was craving. There is a 100% chance of a return. **** HIGHLY RECOMMENDED ****
I just visited this amazing authentic Afghani restaurant, and I was blown away by the food! I tried the Koobideh with Afghani pulao, and it was absolutely exceptional—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and a true taste of Afghanistan. To top it off, the owner was incredibly friendly and introduced us to a new item on the menu: Mast Khiarah. It was a unique and delicious addition to the meal, and I’m so glad I got to try it! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for authentic Afghani cuisine. Can’t wait to come back when hunger calls!
Afghani food at its best. Chapli Kabob are cooked to perfection. Combined with Kabuli rice, the taste is just pure great. Lamb Shank is cooked so well done that meat is almost melting. Chicken is good but the other food set the bar so high that we found it to be a bit lacking in taste. Overall, this is a must try. We will return.
Food is tasty, well cooked, staffs are friendly. Highly recommend if you are looking for halal and tasty food. After a long time we ate burger. Its awesome. The kebabs are mouth licking especially the beef. Lamb shake is the best
