A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises.. It clearly says Halal in English and in Arabic on the storefront glass before you enter and also inside on their funky wall decor.

I’m visiting DC for a week and decided to try Spice 6, around my hotel corner. The inside is clean, has ample seating, though not for large groups. You pay and pick up your order within 5 minutes. It was especially cool that the few folks dining in were from other nationalities enjoying the food. I also observed the friendliness of the staff toward all who walked in to ask especially about their chipotle-style pizzas or bowls/wraps. Customer service with a smile!
It's essentially the Indian version of Chipotle with many, many, more options. The food was delicious and the portions are more than generous. The staff was extremely friendly and prepared my wrap quickly. The wrap cost around $16 dollars but was easily enough for two servings. I highly recommend visiting Spice 6 if you enjoy Indian food that is made to order and readily available.
We had lunch here today, but unfortunately, it was our last day in Washington DC and we discovered this amazing place late. We ordered a chicken tikka combo, a chana masala combo, and a samosa burger ?. Each combo includes one naan, a bowl of rice, and your choice of gravy—ours was chicken tikka and chickpea masala. Upon entering, you place your order, pay, and choose a table. The food is brought to your table promptly because their service is quick, minimizing wait times. The dishes arrived piping hot ?. The chicken tikka was perfectly seasoned to our liking, and the samosa burger offered a burst of mixed flavors—tangy and sweet with a satisfying crunch from the sev. I deducted one star because the chickpeas needed more salt and spices. Overall, I highly recommend this place for its affordability and delicious food.
My go to spot for authentic Indian food. I’ve tried most of the items on the menu and they don’t disappoint. The chai and mango lassi is pretty good too.
One of the worse customer service i got from them. They scam on foods menu. I ordered the full Chicken Tandoori, but i got 4 legs of chicken instead of full chicken. When i asked about the why there isn't the full chicken which i ordered $27.54. They were not ignoring me. I asked for manager or shift manager. She wasn't on duty. Anjili (Worst Employee) she said come on Tuesday or Wednesday to see the manager. They also don't care the food cross contamination. They don't use sanitizer towel to clean kitchen table and food serving area. Instead they were keep use dirty napkins. Which is serious food hazards. NEED TO REPORT FOOD SAFETY DEPARTMENT.
Well I didn’t have a good time after having their Lamb biryani (mild). The hotness was mild as expected but too many aromatic spices were present. It was not exactly biryani but I’d say pulao and the meat anyway could have been more cooked. Raita was good.
Avoid this place if you’re looking for authentic Indian food. Even the dishes labeled as Indian don’t suit an Indian palate. The restaurant is poorly maintained—we encountered dirty tables and floors upon arrival. There seemed to be only two staff members working, both behind the counter. It’s a self-service setup where you place your order, and they call your name when it’s ready. The food was below average and overpriced; we spent over $50 for just two dishes which were not tasty and were sweet.
I had an okay experience at Spice 6, a fast-casual Indian restaurant that lets you customize your own bowl, wrap or pizza. The restaurant was clean and modern, and the staff was friendly and efficient. The price and the portion were fair, but I expected more flavor and quality from an Indian restaurant. The staff verbally confirmed that everything in the menu is Halal.
