This was without a doubt one of the worst takeaway experiences I have ever had, and I feel compelled to leave this review so others don’t make the same mistake. From the moment I opened the box, it was clear something was wrong. The chicken had a strong, unpleasant smell that immediately put me off. It didn’t smell fresh or appetising in any way, and that alone ruined my appetite. Unfortunately, the texture and quality of the chicken were even worse. It was somehow both extremely oily and excessively watery at the same time, leaving a greasy, watery mess pooled at the bottom of the box. Instead of being crispy or even properly textured, the chicken was soggy, limp, and completely unappealing. Taste-wise, it was just as disappointing. There was little to no flavour at all — no seasoning, no depth, just oil and a strange, unpleasant aftertaste. I tried a few pieces hoping it would improve, but every bite was the same. I quickly gave up and couldn’t bring myself to eat any more. To make matters worse, the packaging completely failed. Because of the excessive oil and liquid, the box had become so weak that it collapsed by the time it arrived. Food was spilling, the presentation was ruined, and the whole experience felt unhygienic. For a takeaway that clearly serves oily food, the packaging should be able to handle it, but this clearly wasn’t the case. What makes this even more frustrating is the cost. Takeaway food isn’t cheap, and when you’re paying for a meal, you expect at least something edible. This wasn’t just below average or disappointing — it was genuinely unpleasant, and I ended up throwing most of it away. Overall, this was a disgusting experience from start to finish: bad smell, terrible texture, excessive oil and water, lack of flavour, and packaging that couldn’t even hold together. I will never order from here again, and I strongly suggest others avoid it. There are far too many better chicken places out there to waste your money on this one.
