I purchased a whole lamb on February 14th 2026 something I’ve purchased from them before. Typically, the price is $10.99 per pound, but this time I was charged $14.99 per pound. When I questioned the increase, I was told it was a “special order,” with no prior notice, explanation, or transparency. It felt misleading and dishonest. Unfortunately, the quality of the meat was the worst I’ve ever received. It had an unusual smell, and was completely inedible. I ended up throwing it away, resulting in a $325 loss. When I called to address the issue, the customer service was equally disappointing. The person I spoke with was dismissive and rude, stating there was “no guarantee” and that nothing could be done. There was not even a basic apology. When I offered to bring the meat back for them to inspect, the response I received was, “What am I going to do with it?” which I found incredibly disrespectful. I will no longer be purchasing from them and I don’t recommend this shop. There were multiple red flags that made me uncomfortable with their service and quality.
