A halal sign is clearly visible on the premises.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Best kabobs in northern Virginia area. Try the famous lamb chops and cuisine Kabobs. Specializes in kabobs (chicken, beef, lamb, fish, and shrimp), but also has other Afghan dishes, such as qaubili palau (lamb with rice and raisins) and bouranee baunjaun (fried eggplant with tandoori bread).

My $13+ on my order of lamb Afghan Carrayee was a waste. Popcorn size lamb pieces cooked with onions, tomatoes and oil. So much oil that tiny lamb pieces were swimming in it. It was so salty I couldn't eat the lamb pieces without bread rolled around it. Our second order of boneless chicken kabob was okay but the side order of chickpeas sucked as it was bland & tasteless. Prices are on higher end ranging $11 to $18++. I ordered green tea with my dinner but it never showed up. I complained about my lamb salty, oily and tasteless meal to manager/owner at checkout and the guy didn't even apologize or offer something else instead showed me the check to pay it. Poor Customer service. No manager on duty to listen to our concerns. Clean restrooms and pleasant enough atmosphere. Needless to say that I am never coming back here again. 6/13/19.
Please see my Kabobistan review on Yelp as my long reviews on Zabihah get truncated/cut short that one cannot make any sense reading them. Also Zabihah only allow one review no matter how many times you visit the same restaurant. Needless to say Zabihah is a low level App & website run poorly.
The food here is amazing. Ive gotten the chicken, lamb, and veggie kabob platters and they're all delicious. I love the chickpeas and eggplant. Takeout and dining are both good. The food is super fresh and never misses.
This family-owned kabob spot is a true hidden gem! Their chicken kabobs are hands-down the best I’ve ever had—juicy, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. You can tell everything is made to order because it’s always fresh and served piping hot. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel like family from the moment you walk in. The portions are generous, and the prices are super reasonable for the quality you get. If you’re looking for amazing food with a warm, welcoming vibe, this is the place!

Fantastic kabobs. I wish we would have checked this place out sooner! The spinach side was delicious.

Great place to eat a lot.
I got a combo platter of beef, lamb, chicken. The beef was like ground burger but I prefer chucks of steak when I order kabobs. The chicken was my favorite of all three. I paid a bit over $20.
The bad reviews are fake ratings from competitors in the area. I haphazardly came in here on a lunch break from work, and this is the best lamb kabob I've had in the last few years. The seasoning and tenderness of the meat compare to dishes I've had overseas. This is now my #1 for Afghan food in Northern Virginia.
The chapli kabob is spicy, flavorful, and fresh. Getting the combo is a bit expensive but for $22 you’re buying fresh and warm food. Great take out option
Such a wonderful spot! I’ve tried a lot of Afghan restaurants around the area this is my favorite so far. Amazing staff, great food and elite vibes.
This place is delicious! The food is packed with flavor, the portions are filling and it’s a delight every time I go. It takes a little time for your food to come out because they make it to order, but it’s worth the wait.
I wanted to try a new place since I was in the area. I walked in and its a small dining room. Tables were dirty and rice all over it and om the floor. There was only1 table occupied ar the time. Didnt appear too cleanly. I ordered kabob witj chickpeas and salad. I asked for the carrots and raisins but didnt get it. He didnt ask if it was forbhere or to go even though i sat down after ordering to wait. The guy didn't bring me food or ask my name when takikg the order so he just kept yelling until i realized he was talking to me with my back turned. I decided to go tp my car and eat since the tables were nasty. Taste was decent. The bread was tough and the white sauce was watery. Upon eating my salad when i was just about done. I took a bite of the groumd meat and salad and bit into something hard and it cut my tounge. I spit it out and stopped eating. When i called the resturant to explain, all the guy did was instantly deny that anything was in my food and kept giving me the run around to talk with thw owner. He told .w to call him at another location instead of taking my info. Down and having him reach out to me. Can't say that this has happened to me before bht it truely scared the hell out of me thinking it was glass and could've swalloelwed it. I do not reccommend this place. Customer service is horrible unless you know them i guess.
