Tang's Halal Chinese

It\'s primarily a takeout place, so the ambiance isn\'t top-notch. However, the food more than makes up for it. It\'s not gourmet by any means, but if you\'re looking for classic Chinese takeout food, this delivers well. The General Tso\'s chicken was freshly fried, contained large chunks of white meat chicken, and didn\'t have a ton of breading like it often does at other takeout places. It was so good we ate it all in one sitting! They also sell Philly Phresh juice, which is phenomenal (the strawberry lemonade had actual strawberry chunks in it). The worker at the counter, Carla, was so sweet and hospitable. Whether you eat in, take it out, or get delivery, this is a must-try.

Best halal Chinese take out in Philadelphia. They do have seating of four for 2 groups. They are also very clean and nice. Even the bathroom and the kitchen is clean. The best part is their food actually taste good and they have a good deal on the lunch special.

Hands down my favorite Chinese in Philly! Definitely a hidden Gem in north Philly but close to center city. I’ve never had anything here that wasn’t good. And they take debit/credit cards!

This is a takeout only Chinese restaurant. You can also order on delivery apps to have a delivery straight to your door. I recommend this Chinese store to anyone. Of course the location is in North Philly but the food and service is great. The owners talk to you. The customer service is exceptional. Don’t take my word for it. Just go there today.

If you have money to waste and get robbed in broad daylight then you are more than welcome to visit. Food smells like its was sitting there forever. Soon as i open the food it smells so bad that i almost throw up. Also the amount food they give is not enough for one person.

this is the 2nd time ordering from here in the same month. ive had the wings & fried rice (no shrimp) and the general tso chicken (pint) . The Wings were good , rice was also. A lot of vegetables so if u dont like them, opt out . i was skeptical about the general tso and it being that fake meat but absolutely not ! its real meat. which im so happy for ! the broccoli was actually cooked and seasoned but it was scorched so i didnt like the taste . ive had better food so 3/5 stars but still worth it i will eat here again. i ordered so i never been to the store.

The restaurant was clean, the food was freshly prepared (we had to wait a few minutes, but so worth it) and although we picked it up practically around midnight, everything was spot on - our order was correct and the food tasted FANTASTIC!!! Any time I'm in Philadelphia, this halal joint is going to be my go to!!!!

I would recommend this place to everyone I know so good Chinese with so many options and it's HALAL. Loved it. We had lomein with sesame chicken and beef fried rice with chicken and broccoli.

The place is awesome, the food is amazing the owner so nice the counter girl was a sweetheart this is the only place I'm coming to North Philly and that's saying a lot because the Chinese stores in North Philly are not something most people want to eat at LOL
