Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. Management has confirmed to Zabihah that now all items are halal across the chain.
Our story began when my wife Marie and I, along with our children Dory, Dany, David, Gladys and Grace emigrated to America in 1976. Three years later we purchased Athenian Taverna, a sub and pizza shop in Arlington. We could only afford to change half of the original sign, thus Lebanese Taverna was born. Lebanese Taverna brought a little piece of Lebanon back to us, and in turn, the customers experienced the Lebanese food and culture. My family and I have come a long way since opening the original Lebanese Taverna in 1979. Each night my children still greet old friends and welcome new ones into the restaurants where they grew up and shared their lives. Lebanese Taverna has come to symbolize the realization of dreams and the rewards of dedication, where good food is enjoyed in good company.

Enjoyed wonderful Lebanese food and beer. We were served by a caring gentleman who made us feel so confortable and satisfied. The bread was amazing too.
Mediocre food at best. The server seemed to be having a bad day, cuz she kept rolling her eyes at us for no reason. Ambiance was really nice tho! Prolly not coming back, and would not recommend.
Really loved our visit to Lebanese Tavern today. Service was great. Bread is soooooo good. Fattoush salad is absolutely delightful and their fries are super yummy?
The pita bread for appetizers was light and soft. Hummus trio was perfect, especially the spicy hummus. Kibbeh was very filling so maybe don't order it if you plan to order a full entree as well. I especially enjoyed my mouzat (slow cooked lamb leg with spiced rice). It was a lovely meal. Great service, the place is huge so there were many available seats, good food. They have lots of vegetarian and gluten free options. Highly recommended.
Lamb fatteh was AMAZING! Rich, flavorful meat literally melted in your mouth! The bread was also excellent. Great service and very comfortable space. Highly recommend!
Very quiet and peaceful environment. We loved these two platters with more of the complimentary bread. Right outside of pentagon city mall as the perfect little walk to burn off a few calories before heading inside to shop. I loved the service, and all of the food was tasty and very different! If you've traveled to the Mediterranean before this spot, it will make you very happy. Yum! The bathroom was clean, too.
The food was fantastic, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. The servers were kind and respectful. To top it off, they surprised me with a complimentary dessert without me even asking
We stopped at this place for lunch and we all had a great time. We were served by a Moroccan lady that I don't remember her name, but she was excellent. She went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. The food we ordered was delicious and too much for us, but that didn't stop us from trying their kunafah with ice cream. Overall, we enjoyed our short time there since we had to head back to NYC. We will come back next time for more food and great experience.
