The menus clearly state that halal food is served.. From the management: 'The Halal Guys takes great pride in using only the highest quality, halal-certified meats. We know many of our customers like to know the sources of their food and we are happy to provide the Halal certifications for our chicken and our beef gyro. 100% halal food.'
From humble beginnings as a New York City hot dog cart to a world-renowned international restaurant chain, The Halal Guys story is the quintessential American Dream. The Halal Guys is defining a new, thriving segment for the restaurant industry: American Halal Food! The Halal Guys legend began in 1990, when the three founding partners opened up a hot dog cart on West 53rd & 6th Avenue in New York City. As business grew, they recognized a huge demand from Muslim cab drivers looking for a halal food meal. That is when the famous platter of chicken and gyro over rice was born. And let's not forget about the famous white and red sauces! Fast-forward 25 years, five carts, two New York City restaurants, and millions of diverse customers served, The Halal Guys is growing yet again. Fans no longer have to be in NYC to experience The Halal Guys as they look to share American Halal Food all over the country and the world.

Fresh falafel platter, its made to order and the veggies are fresh as they can be. Would highly recommend this location
Visiting this restaurant was a delight. The atmosphere is very nice and cozy, perfect for a quiet meal. The food is tasty, the service was excellent, very friendly and courteous, they did everything possible to make sure we had a wonderful experience.
If they don’t have chicken then don’t accept the order. They gave me a stale and burnt and worst chicken possible. Literally I put the whole platter in trash. I really had high hopes on halal guys. This will be my last time ordering from you guys. Better make a switch !!!
Never had a bad experience here. The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff is pleasant and kind. On days that I choose this location for lunch, I very much look forward to it.
I like coming here. Gyros are good and really filling. No need for fries, even though they're pretty good too, at least during lunch rush. They use the longer grain basmati rice, which is my favorite. Fresh veggies and flavorful sauce. Staff is super friendly here. Only thing i wasn't crazy about was the falafel. But that might be a me thing and not a reflection on the restaurant.
I appreciate their consistency and kindness when serving me, every time I go. Food is basic and delicious. Recommend for lunch!
The place reminds me of New York style food places. It has a buffet and different size of bowls. The food it's tasty and very fresh. The space it's a bit limited, so if you have groups bigger than 4 this may not be your place. It also has a couple of tables outside. The place is perfect just to get a quick bite of good Mediterranean food with a friend or in my case my brother, but it's more like a fast chain than a sit in restaurant. They do take out and delivery apps, so you can try that too! If you are looking for a date spot or variety on the food you may one to try something else.
First time trying The Halal Guys in Texas, after trying in New york. Well managed, fresh ingredients, kind employees. I enjoyed spicy sauce??
