190 Sussex Gardens, Paddington, Greater London
We serve Halal Dim Sum and Halal Asian Cuisine.
The owners are Muslim and have confirmed its halal status. Bonda by Duck & Noodle serves halal Malaysian and Chinese hawker cuisine from a basement location in London. The restaurant offers multiple halal options across its menu, including roasted duck dishes, and diners report both the food quality and service speed positively. The venue includes a prayer room, a feature diners note is uncommon in the area.
Score reflects a halal certificate on file.
the restaurant is now closed for renovation
It's cheap. It serves good tasty food and the staff are warm and friendly. If you want a hearty meal of fiery hot beef with rice this is the place! Malaysian cuisine appears to be a cross between Indian and Chinese (at least judging by what is served here). Intersting and worth trying. The ambience is a let down though. The furniture, utensils, decor and the visible part of the kitchen have a 'rustic' feel. It could do with a facelift.
My friend and I came here together for dinner! The service is AMAZING! love the way our server paid attention to us and would small talk with us ☺️ I do have allergies and intolerances and sadly due to this, I wasn’t meant to eat some of the dishes. EITHER WAY, Bonda’s food is DELICIOUS! We appreciate how they’re firstly HALAL, they have so many options and they’re FAST! We ordered the Roasted duck Noodles 🦆 , Wonton noodles 🥟 for mains and the Szechuan spicy chicken dumpling 🍗 with the Prawn Cheung fun 🍤 for starterssss! All was delicious and normally we don’t finish our food - WE DID HERE THOUGH! The broth of both noodles dishes were so heartwarming, very good for a cold. As for the Szechuan spicy chicken dumpling, it wasn’t too spicy in my opinion but my spice tolerance is crazy! So order at your own risk 😭 The atmosphere of the restaurant was so peaceful and there’s more room in the back!
