My husband and I went to Hungry Jack’s Guildford on 17 March 2026 and used the drive-through service at around 10 PM. I initially ordered a Philly burger, but I was told it was no longer on the menu, so I changed my order to a GM Cowboy Angus, which was also unavailable. I understand that it was already past 10 PM, so I changed my order again to a large Baconator meal with onion rings. When we arrived at the service window, we were informed that they had no bacon left. At that point, I was not surprised. They suggested an alternative, and I simply asked them to add crispy onions instead. I did not complain because I was very hungry and tired from work and just wanted to go home. For my husband, he ordered a large Cheesy Bacon Classic Jack’s Fried Chicken meal and requested extra cheese to replace the missing bacon. When we received our order, I noticed that we were given two servings of chips instead. We informed them that I had ordered onion rings, so we were asked to wait in the waiting bay. After receiving the onion rings, we went straight home. It was very disappointing to see that not only was my burger missing bacon, but the beef patty was also incomplete. My onion rings were also overcooked, with many pieces stuck together. Some parts were crispy, while others were soggy and tasted bitter. This was not worth the money I paid. Hungry Jack’s needs to improve its stock management and ensure staff are properly trained in food preparation. One mistake may be understandable, but when it happens multiple times, it is no longer acceptable.
