I love Middle Eastern food and couldn't wait to try this restaurant! When I arrived I parked in the plaza lot. I walked into the and placed the order with a nice server. I ordered: Cajun chicken hoagie NY Shrimp Lamb chops with yellow rice The food was pretty good and I really liked the NY shrimp the most. All in all I had a good experience.
Always love to come here and eat from my brothers, chicken sandwich special is so good this is my 4th time getting it
This Al Shaam restaurant is good one halal restaurant in Philadelphia area, sitting place and environment is cozy and quite peaceful, I ordered NY fish meal with white sauce, is served with rice and some salad dressing, fish was very tasty as well as rice, I enjoyed with come and then after have my favorite and very good Arabian tea that come with mint leave in it. I give it thumbs up
The veggie samosas were good but the salmon hoagie was really, really good. Everything was freshly made and more importantly it was hot! I returned and had a very good lamb cheesesteak. I also had the double cheeseburger which was good and thick!
Updated review 2/5 stars: I got the chicken sandwich again but it was very dry and not seasoned at all on the inside. Even drenching it in the sauce still had me chewing for a while. I'm unsure if it was a different person cooking but after this experience I wouldn't come back. We ended up spending once again $65 ish dollars giving them business once more. We didn't receive the kibbee we ordered instead they replaced it without telling us and this samosa was very hard on the teeth. It just felt like the food was out for a while , element's of old meat maybe reheated. Wouldn't go out of my way again to get food though. First review March 1 - 4/5 stars: Beef samosa- although the picture is underwhelming the flavor was actually well seasoned and I enjoyed this enough to want others to try it. Would recommend and get again. Kibbee - good flavor. would get again. NY chicken - good flavor not the best I've ever had but good. Satisfied my craving. Would get again. Chicken sandwich with French fries - my favorite part of the meal. A wow sandwich. It's definitely a spice too it but overall such a great flavor all around. Would get again but it's $13 Parking was available in lot. Overall would come back.
Food was AMAZING!!!! Definitely recommend if you’re in the mood to eat Mediterranean food! Ingredients are fresh and the flavors are great! The buffalo quesadillas were out of this world! Not the usual buffalo sauce you get elsewhere! Our favorite dish out of the 3. We live out of state so we prolly won’t be able to come again but our first experience was phenomenal!!!
In one word mouthwatering. Every single dishes look colorful, taste delicious. Please try their garlic sauce with your dishes. Thanks me later. Me & My family enjoyed their hospitality. Its an authentic HALAL, Mediterranean Cuisine.
Grabbed a Chicken & Rice with White Sauce platter. It was good just didn’t care for the rice. It was mushy and plain. But overall we enjoyed it. The place is clean and spacious. It also had a decent amount of seating. Great menu, if you happen to be in the area check them out.
