Staff has given verbal assurance of halal status.. All food at this restaurant is certified halal.
Emigrating from a small town in Turkey, speaking a very uncommon language known as Laz, we wanted to make a life here in America. With our unique and traditional food, we believed our cooking style could bring a different taste in the community. Now that we were granted this opportunity, we want our story to inspire and satisfy our customers.

The foods are delicious! I definitely recommend them!
We always enjoy Turkish cuisine, but I must say NYC has better Turkish options than Boston. The restaurant was very neat. They recently moved to this location. Staff was friendly. My husband thought we were ordering a lot, but Portion was small as compared to what we usually get in NYC, and Flafel was not authentic as it had carrots in it. Hummus tasted okay, felt more of packed one, not homemade. Overall, the appetizer platter was okay. Zucchini friter were more of pan cakes. It was our first time trying Turkish friters, so I'm not sure how authentic those were. Loved the complimentary homemade bread and flavored oil. Turkish yogurt drink, Ayran (homemade) was good. Kebabs were delicious, best out of all what we ordered. gozleme was okay. Loved the kunafa. Turkish tea and Turkish coffee tasted perfect. Missed having a Turkish delight with coffee as they served it with a complimentary chocolate. Washrooms were clean.
I recently dined at Turkish Lazuri Cafe and thoroughly enjoyed my experience. The food was served hot and fresh, and the meat was incredibly tender. My favourite dish was the manti beef dumplings they were absolutely delicious! I also loved the ambience it was so cosy. I would definitely visit again. And the best thing about it is, everything is halal!
Turkish Lazuri Cafe is an absolute gem in Allston that transports you straight to the heart of Turkey, even if you've never set foot there. The ambiance is cozy and warm, making it a perfect spot to unwind and enjoy a meal. As soon as you walk in, the mouthwatering display of desserts—from luscious cakes to decadent pastries—invites you to indulge. The menu is a true celebration of authentic Turkish cuisine, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. The tea is rich and flavorful, but the standout for me is the coffee with chocolate—it's simply amazing! Each sip is a delightful experience that leaves you wanting more. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the owner. He may look a bit intimidating at first, but his warm personality and friendliness make you feel right at home. His thick accent adds to the charm, embodying the spirit of a proud Turkish man. If you're looking for an inviting atmosphere with delicious food and great hospitality, Turkish Lazuri Cafe is the place to go. I can't recommend it enough; it truly captures the essence of Turkey. I can't wait to return!
Great vibes, amazing hospitality. The menu is great and has a variety of all kinds of authentic Turkish food, from cold to hot appetizers to entrees and gourmet wraps. The rush explains how great the business is and everyone should be understandable about it. Overall, a great place. Will be back for sure.
Tiny Turkish delight with kind service and generous portions. The food is best in class; will definitely return for dinner. Only downside is lack of a public restroom, soon to be remedied by move to a larger space nearby.
Thus restaurant is a hidden gem that combines excellent food, a warm atmosphere, and outstanding service Recently renovated, the space offers a cozy yet modern feel with a rustic touch, creating a welcoming environment that's always bustling with people. The food is nothing short of exceptional, with each dish showcasing the authentic flavors of Turkish cuisine, made from fresh, high-quality ingredients. The portions are so generous for what you pay, offering great value for both the quantity and quality of the meals. The owners are incredibly sweet, adding a personal and friendly touch that makes dining here feel special. Whether you’re a regular or a first-time visitor, you’ll find the Café to be a truly charming spot that balances great food, an inviting atmosphere, and genuine hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy delicious Turkish food in a lively and welcoming environment.
Definitely the best Turkish restaurant in Massachusetts. I wish it were closer to my house so I could order more often. I literally have to drive 40-60 minutes, depending on the traffic. But after that, I get great food that makes me happy
WOW. Such delicious variety on the menu! This lovely renovated Mediterranean Cafe is just we needed in town. Quality flavor and affordable. The Greece inspired decor will help get you relaxed and ready for your meal. Fresh and filling. Staff were very helpful and attentive, made you feel like you were part of their circle. You must try. My husband and I will be returning to try their other dishes.
