This place has the best hot chicken sandwich I have ever eaten. The Sando with medium plus spice is soooooooo good. The hot is legitimately hot with a mix of Carolina reaper and ghost pepper. If you can handle really spicy food, the hot can be managed with a milkshake.

I've been here at least 15 times and I love it because the chicken is halal and I can eat it. The service when I'm dining in is great. However, today I ordered to go and was grossly disappointed. I only ordered one thing; the wrap. As I began to eat, I kept getting only lettuce in my bites. I didn't get to chicken until almost the middle of the wrap. And there was more lettuce than chicken. For something that cost $14, I would expect more chicken. When I've ordered it in the past (when dining in) it's been great. It's very disappointing that if I order to go, it's a gamble of whether they're going to skimp on the chicken.

Edited after 3-4 more visits: Excellent spicy chicken sandwitches, we also tried the fries and deep fried macaroni balls. All were perfect. The place gets pretty busy so service can be spotty but the foods so good it makes up for it in spades. Service has gotten more restaurant-like which is great and I also tried the waffle and its the bomb too. This places hits the spot every time I go. If I lived closer I would be a regular.

Craving chicken tenders? Chicken and waffles? Chicken ala king? Chicken loco moco? This is the absolute place to be. Very welcoming staff, appealing music, very cozy and cool place. They even have the OG video games. It’s so fun to be here. A place where you feel like you can make a lot of friends. I love me a chicken especially if it’s with waffles. They have that! Was craving chicken with rice but was willing to settle for chicken sandwich but they have that here too and different kinds of chicken and fries. Cute mural/wall art. Basketball on TV. I will definitely come back. The pollo moco was bussin’. It reminded me of chicken ala king that we used to eat in the Philippines and often recreate here. The best chicken sauce I’ve ever tried better than CFA, RC and DHC. I got the pollo moco for just $11 and the mini sando chicken is a regular sized chicken burger for $8!!! Will definitely go back and try their fries and whenever I crave chicken ala king. Love my new found chicken place!

I’m not a fan of fried chicken because most places overcooked their chicken and make it so dry, but this place has the most moist chicken ever. I had tender, and the tender was nicely moist, the batter is quite thick on the tender. My bf had chicken thigh part and it was great. My bf ordered the hot one, it’s very spicy but he could eat spicy fine. He said that “hot” level is enjoyable for him. I chose the mild one and I enjoyed it. The server was nice and attentive. He gave us the “hot” level sample to try on to make sure we could handle it before order.

Absolutely phenomenal chicken sandwich!!! First and foremost, I asked for the Hot spice on my chicken sandwich and the guy/host/server smiled and walks away. I knew he was going to get me that hot sauce so I can try it and not only did he come back with the sauce but he came back with a nice piece of chicken, hot style just for me to try so that I knew what I was getting myself into. That chicken is HOTT! This place don’t play with their spice levels!!! Not only was it spicy as hell but it was crazy juicy and flavorful! Not just hot to be hot! It tasted soooo good buuuuuuuuttttttt I had to retract my hot order and get medium hot. I love spicy but I wasn’t tryna put myself through that at the moment. The sandwich was so huge that it filled me up and I didn’t have enough space to finish the fries! That rarely happens but this place did it! The fries are also hella good. Crispy, crunchy, and perfectly seasoned. My friend ordered the chicken and waffles full order which is two waffles and two tenders. The waffles covered the plate and the tenders were humongous!! The waffles were perfectly cooked and delicious! Highly recommend!!! Chicken is on point! Fries on point! Service on point! And the ambiance and decor are dope! Bay slaps playing mixed with some classic old school raps. Do yourself a favor if you like chicken sandwiches and go here! Edit: The El Guapo is CRAAAAZZZZYYYY GOOOOOD!!! Edit: The Etoufee as a side OSS a great serving size and pairs well with the sandwiches

I heard this place was good but after I ate here I would say that it was great! #1 Chicken thigh sando was delicious and hot. The greens were a perfect side. I even enjoyed Mario kart on their retro Nintendo consoles!

Ordered the hot boy wrap and used training wheels heat. Could have definitely upped on the spice, but im a weenie, so I ordered out of precaution. The wrap is messy, but definitely flavourful. My husband ordered the chicken tender meal with fries, using mild heat. Even though it was way to spicy for my liking it was very flavorful and I loved how I could taste the spicy and sweet within it's flavors. Not sure who rang us up, but he was very attentive, cracked jokes. And was aware of his surroundings of other guests and still made us feel like we were a priority. We ordered Togo and the food came out quick.

The best chicken and waffles I’ve ever tried! (I grew up in ATL) the chicken is so juicy and the crunch is immaculate. Their waffle batter is perfection and wish I could have it daily! Lol I love the nostalgic retro vibes and the staff is very friendly and welcoming, even on their busy/packed days which I appreciate and will keep me returning every time!
