Chef Basir brings his love for food, hospitality and business to every meal. For as long as he can remember, he has enjoyed giving people a unique and fun experience through food. After many years of successful business ownership, he took his passion one step further when he completed a degree in Culinary Arts from the world renowned Art Institute. With the belief that fine cuisine should be available and convenient for everyone, he founded Chef On Wheels in 2012 and has been spreading deliciousness in the DC area through a snazzy red truck.

Excellent little place in Bonn to try authentic Mexican food. We found this place by chance, but it was a happy coincidence. The tacos and burritos were delicious, and we also tried some Mexican soft drinks. The staff were quite polite, and friendly. All in all, definitely recommended. PS: I think they do not allow dogs. Please check if you plan on bringing yours!
The hype is real. This place is the most authentic US-Mexican-style food for a great price that I have had in Germany. It comes from a 'chain' of five restaurants in the US, Washington D.C. area. We shared tacos and a BBQ Brisket Burrito. The fish taco was my favorite. Two fried pieces of fish that melted like butter in my mouth. The burrito was packed and tightly wrapped. The brisket was incredibly flavorful. I can't wait to go back and try another burrito flavor, and they have chimichangas! Yes, they bring chips and guacamole if you eat in, and yes, the chips are freshly made. Served hot. They deliver to Bonn, but it was a great atmosphere to eat in. Colorful decorations just like the US style restaurants. Also proof that you don't have to be Mexican to make authentic Mexican food. It's about commitment and passion. I was told about 90% of their work in the kitchen every day goes into the meat, cooking the right amount of time and temperature, seasoning, etc. I was skeptical of the 4.7 it had, but it's legit and super affordable.
AMAZING! We celebrated a birthday in group of 12 and the team went out of their way to make our birthday celebration a whole success - extraordinary service! Delicious food - flavor, presentation, portions, everything - Mexican approved :) Definitely coming back and recommend!
First of all, the tacos are not small. 100+g of meat in each. I got the BBQ beef, barbacoa and ground beef. Next time I would get 2 barbacoa as this one was excellent. The chips were freshly made and the guac was good. The sauce that came with the tacos was really delicious but not a very traditional Mexican flavor profile.
